After Lauren's solo last night, the only criticism CC made was that she didn't need to hold all the notes quite as much, as there was a lot of singing in the song. This is a minor point - actually referring to the fact that because fo her amazing voice, Lauren made it harder for herself than she needed to.

However, ALW then twisted CC's words not once, but twice. He said he agreed with Charlotte that it was "shouty" and "ccreechy". CC did not say that!!!! I was waiting for CC to tell him so but she bottled it. Why did he manipulate her words in this waay? Or does he not really pay any attention to what other people are saying??

Yes, I noticed that. I think she is a bit shouty and screechy at times, but that is not what CC said.

Maybe he got a bit mixed up? Charlotte did say something similar about one of the other girls - Danielle, I think.

I think he's getting confused now. I'm not convinced if he can tell some of the girls apart, even now. Charlotte had a problem with Danielle's voice, I remember her saying, that danielle needs to watch the higher notes. I don't remember her saying like that about Lauren's voice at all. I could be wrong of course.

She didn't - I taped the show and have watched it again.

Or did he want to plant a seed of doubt in viewers minds about Lauren?? She clearly has the best vocals in the competition, but is not right for Dorothy.

I thought I must have just not heard CC saying Lauren was screechy-I was very confused when ALW started saying that. I was thinking surely she just said Lauren was great....

Yes she did. he confused Lauren with danielle. And it seems as if the only face he sees before him is probably danielle's. everyone else is just some sort of inconvenience. lol. I'm kidding.

Maybe Lauren has a few flaws in the way she sings things, but I've never once doubted her technical singing ability. I always feel some kind of 'confidence' in her when I know she's on to sing next or her part of a group song is coming up. I know she's not going to make my ears bleed, basically. So, yes, ALW is totally losing the plot. He always gives the worst and most obscure comments - the panel do a far superior job.

I noticed that as well - a constructive comment from CC about not needing to hold her top notes as long became 'Lauren can be a bit screechy but we can fix that.'
