At the end of "Flesh and Stone" the Doctor said that he didn't know why, but that everything was all about Amy. And that *the* most important thing in the history of the Universe right then was to get Amy sorted... Yet the very next thing he does is take Amy and Rory on a romantic trip to Venice.
So my question is, in what way was this sorting Amy out? If it was getting her to remember/rekindle her relationship with Rory, why was there a need to do this, what exactly was this fixing? And if wasn't, given how important the need to fix Amy apparently is, why the trip to Venice?

, and then went to get Rory...
