Poor. Have seen it done much better at amateur level. She danced better than she sang.

I thought she was fantastic...

It wasn't the best I've heard!

I thought it was god-awful, I'm glad I wasn't the only one. The singing was really weak - the Dorothys wipe the floor with her. And she looks far too old for the part. Not good at all.

she talk sang it , cut notes short and I was disappointed. I like tamzin and really wanted her to belt it out. She can't. Just goes to show - get your face on telly and then you can put bums on seats regardless. Shame.

It was appalling, singing, movement even the blonde hair which doesn't suit. This is another actress who thinks she can sing. I'm afraid not.

Just another example of the producers hoping on a well known name to fill the theatre and short changing the punters with a poor MT singer/performer.

I was underwhelmed too. I also found her face fascinating, it barely moved when she was talking to Graham.

It was a bit embarassing that twice it has been sung on Dorothy and both times it was better than this version.

She can sing and dance, but not as well as the Dorothy's and for some reason was missing that something special... Can't quite put my finger on it but it didnt work. She was dull

Me too. I was looking forward to seeing this show but I'll give it a miss until Ms Outhwaite is replaced.

It wasn't good to say the least.... They should give the role to Jessica!! She'd be much better!!

I thought it was a really bland performence, and she had a grin plastered on her face the entire time, there was no actual change in her expression at all really. The Dorothys are better singers for one, and actualy most are more natural movers.

Saying that I liked it ok. Just think the girls on this are better.

I seriously recommend that you just call the theatre and book tickets for days that she's not on.
The 'cover' Charity is worth seeing if you want to see the show.

"Robotic" is what I'd call it. She learned it well and didn't make any mistakes, but she's not a dancer, not a singer, and not an actress. It was the equivalent of painting by numbers.

It's a great song and a great dance number. Her singing wasn't bad and she 'sold' it reasonably well. But, while she had learned the steps and reproduced them fairly faithfully, she is not a natural dancer.

When the cast of West End shows perform on TV I always think they're quite bad. I think they're always much better on stage but I've never been able to work out why it doesn't work on TV.

When I opened this thread, I thought it was created to praise Tamsin because I thought she was great!

Shame others didn't enjoy her performance as much as I did.

Aaaaah, I guess it's that there's less going on to distract you from the main performance so you are completely focussed on whoever the camera is on...although vocals often sound much worse on TV than live but I assume that's my speakers rather than the performers.

Also, All I could see was that grin plastered across Tamzin's face as i it was going out of style, she could have made it seem like a real grin at least and not as if they had injected her with something.... Look I'm sorry, I just didn't get it. I thought she was supposed to be fantastic. It was just all very staged and unaturual.

I think this clip (not great quality), shows how it should be done. Christina Applegate's performance is filled with comedy and spirit......Tamzin looks dismal in comparison, I think someone on this thread described it as painting by numbers.

Um .. it wasn't great, the dancing was a bit underwhelming, but it wasn't that bad, was it?

no it wasn't that bad, it was fine. But she's obviously not much of a stage actress. It was a bit fake for me. The grin was never off her face, she never seemed to change her expression at all.
