I warmed to Lauren tonight
I really warmed to Lauren tonight, and now I feel that she has simply been portrayed as something she's not and her clips have been edited badly.
She seemed really gracious when she didn't get to perform with the dogs, didn't make a bit fuss out of it, and she also didn't make a big fuss out of being in the sing-off. |

Yeay! You're seeing what I see!
![]() Even in the 'Why I think I should be Dorothy' section she didn't come across as arrogant. Perhaps they didn't have anything to edit together to make her sound c*cky! |

I've never thought her cocky and have liked her all along. I'd like to see her win.

Yeah i've never thought of her as cocky before and defended her when Church said she had to be careful not to come across as cocky?!
![]() I don't think she should be Dorothy though. Danielle is my winner and probably will be winner because that is clearly what ALW wants. Editing has been detrimental for Lauren and Jenny. Sophie and Steph better watch out for next week |

The best moment by far was when Danielle was announced as being in the bottom two and they cut to Lauren's face, which I read as follows:

No that Jess has gone my support will go to Lauren. At the beginning I didn't really think of her as a Dorothy, although I always thought she was very talented. But she has grown on me too over the last few weeks and is now probably the only one left who I would pay to see as Dorothy. And I really don't see her as cocky, she's just a confident girl and she has every right to be!

She's cocky and arrogant.
The VT's tell us that every week, so it must be true. |

Lots of happy Lauren thoughts over here
![]() It's just horrible how bad editing can possibly ruin someone's chances! She clearly has the best voice and she seems to me like a really nice person! |

The VT's tell us that every week, so it must be true. There is very little we can ascertain from the VT's in all honesty. For all we know Jessica could have been a total cow, Danielle could be really sly and sneeky, Stephanie could have been so loud that she drove everyone to insanity etc etc. We simply don't know enough and we certainly aren't shown a true and fair representation of all the girls all of the time so I think you can keep those kind of silly statements to yourself. |

I liked her in the beginning, strangely enough I like her less now. She's probably my least favourite out of the 4 left. She is very professional though, she'll do well.

I think Lauren has been badly misjudged too. She made some remarks that were clearly meant to be jokey and some people seem to have sadly missed this. I think she's a very nice girl. I won't vote for her though because there are girls I like better.
She won't win this contest; the damage has been done. But she'll have a great career in the West End all the same. |

Yes i totally agree!
Especially at the end with the 'medley' when she sang at the end 'if i only had the part', thought she was so brave (for saying she was just voted LEAST popular Dorothy) and sang it beautifully, also loved her facial expressions, she really has grown on me too |

I think all of the girls have had both positive and negative VTs. Ofcourse she was gracious, when not chosen to perform with the dogs; she is an intelligent, mature, professional performer. None of the other girls have 'made a fuss' about being in the sing off!

I've liked Lauren from the start. I think she comes over as focused, determined and spirited, she is confident in her abilities (though maybe not a super-confident person underneath), and she has a nice sense of humour and fun.

Lauren is definitely my Dorothy. I don't really care if she's cocky or not, she is the best choice for the part. Sophie is not consistent, Steph is too poppy and Danielle doesn't convince me as a musical theatre singer - thought she was very weak last week and actually in the sing-off, I'd have saved Jessica which really surprised me as I wasn't a fan at all.
I have to say I thought Jessica came across as fairly cocky with some of her soundbites, but her leaving "speech" was so natural, gracious and lovely that it just goes to show the damage a bit of dodgy editing can do. |
