There will be 3 girls in final week won't there if it's the semi final next week?
Does the public chose the 3rd place (I hope so) or will there be a sing off. Does the public chose who goes in semi-final week or does ALW? Again I hope it's all down to the public.

The semi-final has a sing off, and going by previous shows the poorer performer will go on to the final and come third, the one who is evicted will walk straight out of the show and onto the west end stage.
Whoever wins it will have been manipulated by ALW down to the last couple of girls! I think it should have been the girl with the lowest number of votes who went each week seeing as the public pay for their phone calls to vote!
It was odd that each night ALW got rid of the girl with the fewest votes... until the other night when the lowest girl, Lauren, was saved over Jenny, with the excuse that the dog didn't bond with her when clearly Jenny got on well with her dog that was shown AFTER she was evicted!! So why did he change his 'system' this weekend, in saving girls who had received the lowest number of votes when he previously put the lowest out?
Sarah Kennedy on Radio2 today, said how viewers of Over The Rainbow are furious that ALW saved Lauren and Danielle, even though several times the viewers have wanted rid of them! Sarah also talked about how John Partridge said that Lauren sang a song that the other contestants couldn't even consider (WHAT TOSH they could all sing it) and also said how Charlotte said she would have to stop fawning over Lauren!

I doubt if he ever made a point of putting the girl with the least votes out; it was just that up until Saturday the girl he liked less was the one with the least public votes.
I had my doubts when he saved Steph over Stephanie (who I thought he preferred) but then I think Stephanie's reaction to being in the bottom 2 may have made him doubt her readiness for the West End.

This is only the case with Lauren. Every other time, he saved the person with more votes. If it had been an American Idol-style straight-elimination, Danielle, Steph and Sophie would all still be on the show. Lauren would not.
Still, it doesn't bother me. This is the point of having a bottom 2 rather than just eliminating the person with the lowest votes. ALW wants to protect his investment as much as he can, and try his best to avoid shock eliminations. He has saved the person with the lowest votes a few times before on the previous shows, even though he's only done it once this series.

If I had been a favourite for the last 2 like Stephanie and not in the bottom two and then went through the experience of being given Bojangles and bad comments and then ended up in the bottom two I would be upset too. They will all be a year older by the time the show opens and wanting someone young comes with a price. He could have an ice maiden for the role but she's not going to have the audience routing for her.
On performance record and on Steph's record in the bottom two it argued for Stephanie . On the sing off it was arguable.

I expect all the girls are upset when they find themselves in the bottom 2. But it's been mentioned many times in the series that you have to have a tough skin to get by in the business they want to be in, and the other girls have mostly been better able to handle their emotions than she was.
In any case, I'm not saying he was necessarily right, just that that could have been his reasoming.

I think she knew what Bojangles meant but didn't quite think it would happen - if you see it coming and wonder why it adds to the impact when it hits you but if you hoped you got it wrong your hopes are dashed too........
Losing what you think you might have in terms of a chance to win hurts more too.
Being where you might reasonably expect others to be doesn't help. Being where you have been before comes as less surprise.
Weeks of spinning against you and seeing it coming earlier makes it less surprising too
