Stephanie's exit was tragic but I really felt awful in this one... Jessica has been my all time favourite since the competition began... all I can say is

GUTTED.

I really hope we see her again. I'm sure we will.

Jess has always been my fave I love her personality, she's a true star through and through with a dazzling future ahead of her!

I don't think she was right for Dorothy but would have liked to see her get to the final as she brings magic to the show!

She'll be missed!

I loved her during the auditions stages but started to go off her a bit during the live shows, but the past few weeks she was really growing on me so I was sad to see her go tonight.

She hasn't died! A close relative of mine did a couple of days ago though and I'm in mourning for her.

So let's have some perspective shall we.

I wasn't being TOTALLY serious with the mourning part you know... I'm just gutted lol. Actually I guess I am in some form of mourning!!

I'm not only gutted but absolutely disgusted at ALW decision. Jessica gave the better performance tonight, her song last night when she sang OTR OMG she was brilliant. The medley, even with her speech impedimant she nailed it!

Why did he save Danielle, why, why, why?! She was awful, I really thought he'd save Jessica, especially as that was her first time in the bottom two!

Really, really, annoyed with that decision.

Yes I agree completely. The whole weekend Jessica has been stronger than Danielle. Absolutely TRAGIC. It just shows how much he wants Danielle to win.

Same for me, Steph all the way. Lots of people are saying Sophie but she should have gone weeks ago!!! Steph is so amazingly talented. I'm just so sad Jess has gone.

I'm gutted too. Jess was the only Dorothy for me, she was just perfect for the role and her Over the Rainbow was fab and the best yet in my opinion. She completely outsang and out-acted Danielle in the sing-off and the way she came across when she was told of the decision was so sweet. I will miss her!

Sure Danielle just had one bad week, but other girls have gone home on one bad week and really thats how the show should be with everyone.

I'm definitely rooting for Steph. She's the best one for the role now.

Last week he said ACT, ACT, ACT. As a Jess and Danielle fan it was bittersweet (however Jess was my preference by a bit of a gap) but he completely backtracked. AND he mentioned a comic Dorothy earlier and chose Danielle over the his comic Dorothy..? It didn't add up.

That said Danielle has probably been more consistent

For me this week has been the saddest .... I don't think I realised just how good Jess is until last week and after last night I felt that of all the girls she was the one who would make a perfect Dorothy ... I think she's a real loss to the show and it was a mistake for her to go tonight ...

On a more positive note her OTR was totally amazing, her sing off song was fab and I think she's got a very very exciting future ahead of her ...

Who really wants to be Dorothy anyway!

I too am gutted that Jessica has left. The show won't be the same without her.

Never seen anyone else get a standing ovation when they sing the leaving song - in any competition. I think AWL will regret his decision in the future. He's not always right as he has admitted about sending Aiofe home. Who's the star now then, it's not his favourite.

I just re watched it and Jessica was so amazingly gracious, John Partridge was really happy when she said she was going to train- I think he did like her really. It seemed that everyone, the panel, contestants, the lord, just loved her. She seems like SUCH a lovely girl

Two of my favourites gone in consecutive weeks now
Jess was such a character and brought something a little different and vibrant to the show. Great shame she was even in the sing-off this week. Rooting for Sophie and Danielle now.

I loved her since Cabaret.

IMO the only girl to have the right combination of vocal ability with the right kind of likeable personality required to play the part.

Others have the personality and could act the part (Sophie) but lack the vocal strength. Some are good singers but just not appropriate for the part (Lauren, Danielle, Steph). Jessica had both.

My impression was that his comment related not to the need for a comic Dorothy, but a Dorothy who would react to and interact with comic characters. To be fair, it was not an entirely coherent statement, but it could be interpreted that what he wanted was not a comic Dorothy, but a foil.

I thought Jessica was great, not just with her performances, but in her positive attitude and gracious, mature acceptance of her elimination. Praiseworthy, in fact.

Don't be too disappointed, Munchkins - she will do well in the future, I'm sure.

I've calmed down a bit from last night.

I was stunned by his decision even though I half expected it. ALW said something after the medley on Saturday night, something like -that was a real eye opener, I thought he'd realised Danielle wasn't as good as he'd thought.

When they were about to announce the bottom two last night I said I hope Danielle is up against Jessica because he will send Danielle home. I got the bottom two right, but I was so wrong about his change of heart.

I really think she will go on to better things. I could see Jessica on billboards and posters advertising OTR, sadly I can't visualise any of the remaining girls.

I'm hoping Steph goes all the way now and knocks Danielle reeling! I'm sure she's a lovely girl but I can't stand ALW and Sheila fawning all over her.

The judges on this show should remain impartial, we know who ALW and Sheila's fav is and CC fav is Lauren, that's if her comments on Saturday night are anything to go by.

Jessica kicked Danielle's ass in the sing off last night. I'm guttde my two favourites went this weekend but I've got no doubt they'll both end up in the west end very soon.

Most of the Dorothys have gotten standing ovations. Stephanie even had the judges standing.

Anyway, I thought Jess was really gracious in leaving, and did really well with OTR. Plus, I think she was such a lovely girl and that came through in her comments that night, especially mentioning her fans.

How sweet was that 'Love you' to the other girls at the end?
