Oh come on they weren't appalling, that's a bit of an exaggeration.

She's probably my second favourite now, after Steph. I don't think she's quite ready for being a leading lady, but she'd be a cracking Dorothy in the future. However they have so long to prepare for it, she could be amazing.

Unfortunately I stand by it. I thought she would redeem herself in the sing off but she was just nearly a whole tone out near the beginning. I like Danielle, she's a great actress and moves very well across the stage but she needs to work on her vocals.

You say this in a week where Danielle's vocals were appalling and unpleasant to the ear! I loved Danielle in her Cry Me A River performance though, she needs to find her vocals from when she was at her best then.
She acted it well but her voice let her down again. Even for those who liked it...you've gotta remember that word "consistency"!

No!!. Sophie has a harsh, verging on very unpleasant voice
![]() Danielle for Dot!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Sophie has a very nice tone to her voice and has been one of the strongest singers throughout... |

I love Sophie, I think she's got an amazing voice and with time she could become a confident Dorothy ... I worry she's not ready yet ... but that aside I think out of the girls left I really would be very happy to see her win ....

I disagree. I thought she sang in stunning. She is miles ahead of the other girls and i am not getting why everyone suddenly likes Sophie after this weekend

Sophie's performances are still too wishy washy for me.
She seems like a nice girl so I wouldn't begrudge her winning but if she did land the role, it would be a bit of an anti climax to what's been a very high quality series. |

I agree l like Sophie but she isn't Dorothy yet. I don't think I would go and see it. The only person I would go and see is Danielle and that is because of her not the show, I have my doubts that it is my kind of show but would go and see her in anything.
This doesn't mean I wouldn't go to see all of the other four including Jess in most other musicals |

The strongest singer? The strongest singer is Lauren. The best singer is Danielle.
Sophie has done well to make it this far imo. Stunning looking, nice girl, average acting skills but that is where it ends. ![]() Secondly i am getting a little annoyed at people saying that Sophie should really have gone before now because she isn't a good enough singer/actress etc. I feel that she (and all the others) have earned there places in the semi-finals. Its the public who vote for them and who ultimately buy the tickets. So its understandable if she isn't you personal favorite but she would have got this far if she couldn't sing/act well enough ALW would have made sure of that.

I'd be happy to see Sophie win now that my favourite has left. The only one of the last 4 I don't see as Dorothy is Lauren.

She's the only one I would go see, well maybe Steph, but I'd definitely go see Sophie. I think she has everything it takes to be Dorothy, great voice, the look and the innocence, she just needs to be developed, and I'm sure between winning and opening night next March she be able to become a great Dorothy.

Never fully in agreement of course but is the board coming around to Sophie winning the role. The forum was always so positive around Sophie but not much talk of winning it now the support for the win seems to be getting more and more. She seems to be the obvious choice now for most people.
Are you happy for Sophie to win? Would you go and see her in the role?

For the record I've always been a Sophie fan and I think some people are recognising the talent that she has to play Dorothy which I recognised, along with my fellow Sophie supporters, a long long while ago.
Joking !The only thing Sophie lacks is a nice voice which is unfortunately imperative. If she mastered that, then she would be talented Quote:
They only mention "consistency" now because they know that Danielle wasn't up to scratch this week so they are manipulating some voters in this way.

This was Sophie's best week by far and I'd have no problem with her as Dorothy.

Sophie is a lovely girl but isn't Dorothy. She needs more time to get to the Dorothy level. Danielle is already there. She is a very good second though.

Uh no... look how long the Danielle thread is compared to hers!
I know there's a massive backlash against Danielle because ALW likes her, but that isnt her fault he does, and tbh I agree with him. Nothing against Sophie, Id like a Danielle/Sophie final really, I think she has upped her game this week (and I dont like Lauren, though Steph is still a contender) - but I still see Danielle as the better actress, and Sophie is still very obviously affected with nerves. Danielle was too this week, but most weeks she has just been growing and growing. |

Unfortunately no chance, not while the Danielle police stamp on the slightest sign of non-adoration of their girl.

This week proved that!Sophie as been my Dorothy from the beginning so I'd love to see her win but I'm not too sure she will. If not there is many other roles for her and shes come at least 4th

I'd be happy with any of them as Dorothy, but would prefer it if it was Sophie or Danielle
