I think you're seeing far more bias than the public ever would (dare I say far more than actually exists?) because you're far more invested in the programme than the vast majority of viewers - most people on this forum are.
So no, there's no way this bias would make people 'hate' Danielle - why on earth would it? Have previous contestants talked about as being 'chosen' become public figures of hate?
