Philips CCR2600

My brother has just bought a new car, and it has a philips CCR2600 Radio/CD player in it.

The radio works just fine, but he can't get the CD to work. When he has it switched to CD, it displays 'CDC SAFE'.

He has the codes, but does not know how to input them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CDC is usually refering to the CD Chnager - I'm presuming "CDCSAFE" means that it has checked that the CD-Changer and it is safe. Does he have a button on the Car radio saying "CD Changer/CD Player"? Sometimes if you alternate between and leave on CD Player it will pick up from the "slot in the hole in the front" instead of beng - what it currently says is CD Changer mode.

It is a built in slot, four disc changer. No seperate cartridge for the discs.
