I probably wouldn't. It'll probably be a show for kids. A bit like a pantomime

I am a kid at heart, mainly because I've only barely come out of childhood myself! But I probably will go and see the show, if Danielle wins I definately will.

If Danielle wins, yes. Just like I would've seen Oliver! if Jessie won. As it happens we nearly saw Jodie but tickets were too expensive so we went to Hairspray instead.

But yes, if Danielle, maybe Sophie, wins.

I wouldn't go to see it and I never liked the story as a child... I'd rather spend my money on tickets for We Will Rock You, Les Mis or Oliver!

I would only want to see it if Danielle wins.

Having seen the audition process, definitely not.

Yes, i went to see Oliver three times, mainly for Jodie (but for the Olivers too, such cuties!), my friend was in it also which was pretty cool, and it was basically amazing with Rowan Atkinson, wanted to see this with Jessica but i'm sure whoever wins will make the perfect Dorothy so yes i am most definitely going to see it!

If you're not going to see it then why the hell are you voting?!

No - doesn't interest me. The casting shows do although I almost didn't watch this one as the Nancys were relatively a sad lot. The casting shows though are all about publicity and ALW is not the only one who benefits. Often moderately talented (or not quite ready) s/boys are put through as cannon fodder. They are not anywhere near the best auditionees - but fit the brief given for the cattle calls. Most of the ones in these type shows that get to the top five didn't go through the cattle calls anyway. However, anyone who makes it to the televised leg of the contest will benefit and be hired for other things as they will put bums on seats due to being that person off the telly that ALW or Simon says is very talented. To a certain extent, these type shows are pushing mediocrity into musicals, tv, recording deals and selling them as the best leading alot of people to believe that is the standard. Shame.

I'm quite surprised at the responses so far to be honest - I would be interested to see how the chosen Dorothy gets on - especially if it turns out to be someone I'm not sure about (Sophie for example).

If it was Sophie then yes!

I have already bought tickets for April 2011 so yes, I will be going.

So did I.Never got to see Gwion though! Although I had already told myself that if Jessie didn't win, the only other person I'd want to see in the role was Jodie. I guess it's better when you have a firm favourite as itn makes you want to see the show more than once.

I will definitely go if anyone other than Lauren wins

I went to see Joseph! and I've seen Rachel (and Lewis) in Wicked, and Seamus in Evita

I'd only go to see if Lauren wins! No offence but I wouldn't pay all that money to travel down to London and see what can only be described as amateurs (i mean that in the nicest way).

I have a connection to Lauren somewhat so can't wait to meet her, and also watch her in something as she's bound to be in something even if she doesn't win the part of Dorothy.

It does bug me somewhat that a lot of people who vote have no intention of ever going to see the show.
I guess it's just like Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing on Ice - where winning doesn't really do anything, they just want their favourites to win!

It's quite frustrating if you genuinely love Musical Theatre and would love to see some of the girls there one day!

I would love to see her win but I have no interest in this particular musical.

I'm really not that fussed, it seems a bit of a panto!

I'd rather see some of the runners up in other things.

Not a chance, but good luck to the new Dorothy . (whoever she may be)

It's hard to make that decision because we've no idea right now what the show will actually look like.

How much is Andrew adding? The music, as it stands is pretty uneven and strange, Andrew's additions could turn it into a much more solid piece musically.

And what about interpretation? The other night Andrew was talking about comedians to play the scarecrow/tin man/lion. With the right casting, it could turn into a great show. There's lots and lots of potential there.

As for the Dorothys left - I would be happy with any of them. Steph is probably my least favourite left for the part, not because i don't think she's great, but just because she's a bit too sophisticated.

I actually think Sophie would be very nice in the part, especially after a few months training. She's got a lovely look for the part, has an innocence and sweetness that's very dorothy. The singing voice is good and the acting will come on with time.

Depends on the rest of the cast. I'll be more likely to go and see it if Danielle wins, as well.

I won't be going.

Much more likely to go and see whatever show Lauren ends up in if i'm going to pay good money to see a show.

Very unlikely that I'll go, I've actually only been to see two big West End musicals in my life.

Yes if it's Danielle, maybe if Steph or Sophie, probably not for Lauren. She's good, but I've just never warmed to her *shrug*
