Yup, I was supporting your point in that paragraph (but had forgotten who else had said it by that point I'm afraid- sorry about that!) and linking it to what I've seen others say about Lauren lacking the popularity to draw in audiences. As I said, both Rachel and Ben disprove that theory by being in the bottom two three (or four?) times before leaving the show and then going on to lead massive West End shows. My point was that there really isn't a link between lack of votes and lack of ability to draw in audiences once onstage. You're absolutely right though, what counts in the long run is her talent, not whether or not she appears arrogant in her edits.

Actually looking back over this thread it looks like 'pigfarts' touched on this point too Great minds and all that...

The only thing I remember about Stephanie the whole time she was in the series is her losing it when she got the boot - I don't remember any of her performances, which I think says a lot really. What I said about Lauren stands here too - if people switched over to BGT when Stephanie was on, chances are they may not have been interested in seeing her anyway and it wouldn't have mattered where she was in the running order. Plus of course there's the 'record' button for BGT.

yeah, it says you need to get a new sound system or new set of ears seriously though....her voice was gorgeous and rich. i for one miss her
