I can't believe it's taken someone six weeks to start this thread! I've been thinking about it for weeks.

So what other roles could the girls both still in the competition and now departed do, apart from Dorothy of course.

Amy - Charity in Sweet Charity.
Jenny - Sophie in Mamma Mia, or Sandy in Grease
Jessica - Kate/Lucy in Avenue Q or Sally Bowles in Cabaret
Steph - Anita in West Side Story, Velma in Chicago
Dani - Maria in West Side Story
Stephanie - Nancy in Oliver

I may be off base with some of these but most of them are just educated guesses!

I'm thinking Jessica could be a good Rizzo. She reminds me of Stockard Channing.

In a few years' time, Jess could be great as Miss Hannigan in Annie.

Bronte (Sandy - Grease)

Amy...Alice in a modern & dark musical version of Alice in Wonderland with Rick Mayall as the mad hatter & Bill Nighy as the caterpillar.

I think Jess would actually be great as Mary Poppins or Maria, I know she has been compared to Barbra Streisand and Liza Minelli in the competition, but for me there's a bit of Julie Andrews in there too.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested Eliza Dolittle for Jessica! I think she'd be very well suited.

I actually think Lauren is more suited for Eliza.

Brilliant! Bill Nighy is one of my favourite actors - I loved him voicing Dylan in the film of the Magic Roundabout :0)

I can picture:

Danielle as a nice policewoman or nurse, in The Bill or Casualty.

Stephanie as a cheeky young minx in one of the soaps!

Jessica on stage in a musical comedy.

Steph in a rival, but equally high-profile West End show to one of Lord Weber's

Jenny in pantomime as Cinderella.

Sophie releasing a Katherine Jenkins style 'light classical' CD.

Lauren releasing a single and having a brief pop career, followed by acting in Sunday Night TV dramas.

With a little more polish Emilie will get there one day. She had a lot of confidence and she is a good dancer as well as a singer. She could suit roles like Eliza Doolittle.

I just hope all the girls have success. It been a great series to watch and hear a lot of quality singers. We have been spoilt for choice.

I think Dani would be great as Tracy in hairspray.... When I watched her during that hairspray song I thought she could do it....

Ive always though of Stephanie as Penny in Hairspray. When she sung that line in You Cant stop the beat it was like shed been rehearsing it for years.
