I've just been rewatching the medley the girls did at the end of the Saturday show. It seems as though the six of them probably rehearsed a short song each with the intention that the girl who had just left (in this case, Jenny) would not perform her song.

The thing that's puzzling me is what would she have sung? I can't think of a 6th song that the girls have done from the show. Danielle did 'We're Off To see The Wizard'; Jess did 'It Really Was No Miracle'; Steph did 'Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead'; Sophie did 'The Merry Old Land Of Oz' and Lauren did ' If I Only Had The Part'. They all sang 'Follow The Yellow Brick Road'.

What's left?

They did it in order that they performed in at first, so they will have all known all the bits except Danielle who had no need to learn anything else.

Possibly Jenny would have sung 'Follow The Yellow Brick Road' and for example had Lauren gone the whole group would have sung 'If I Only Had The Part'

Each girl will have learned two parts of the medley. There will have been a particular order which they stood in so that for example if Jenny was meant to have been first in the line up she will have learned part 1, Danielle part one and two (in case Jenny went) and so on.

That sounds likely - thanks. They are so professional that I tend not to consider that they didin't know which they were doing till the last minute.

It was puzzling me too, I think one of the above senario's is most likely but again it just shows how much they have to remember and learn each weekend ... It shows how professional they are and they must have incredible energy reserves!!!!

Don't state lies like it's fact to make Danielle look like the Chosen One. Of course this didn't happen.

I don't think SD meant that! She/he is just saying that as Danielle sang first in the show she would sing first in the medley so she knew she would be singing the first bit.

If Danielle had gone then Jess would have sung it, so she (Jess) had to learn two songs as did all the others.

I agree with you SheShe, I dont think SD meant it in that way at all. She was just saying because Danielle went first Saturday she would have had to sing the first part of the medley. Same if it was any of the other girls who performed first on Saturday. Some Danielle fans get way too touchy on times imo.

I didnt mean it that way at all. I actually like Danielle. Shes not my fav but shes still good.

Danielle sang 1st on the show and so had to sing 1st on the wizard of oz bit and her sing off as well.

I think Jenny would have sung Ease On Down The Road?

I wondered about that though it's not actually from TWOO. It would be easier than practising two bits. Steph's part was very hard to sing, I thought.

That's very true...... shame really because its starting to put me off Danielle.

I've just realised too that Lauren also had to practise only one song. If she was still in, she was gonna go last. If she wasn't - it didn't matter.

So it wasn't just Danielle! It seems that if that IS the way it worked then Jess, Steph and Sophie drew the short straws because they couldn't know which position they were going to sing in.

Wow, no need to bite someone's head off. Clearly what SD meant was that because Danielle had performed first, and they were going in that same order in the medley, there would be no point in her learning two lines.

Doubt it, as it was a wizard of oz medley. I was thinking about this and came up with the solution that someone else already said, that the girls would have been practising them all (bar Danielle who was guaranteed to have we're off to see the wizard) and then just go in order. Don't think it would have been too difficult, seeing as they only sang a short part each and already knew the songs as they have performed them all as opening numbers.
