The Doctor Who Theme has been voted the third most recognisable theme tune on British television.

The poll was conducted by the Performing Rights Society and named the Match of the Day theme as the most recognisable followed by the theme to EastEnders.

God I hate that (admittedly recognisable) Coronation Street theme tune.

It's like the slow onset of manic depression in musical form.
