after Rosanna says that Isabella has been executed, The Doctor says that 'you didn't even know her name'

what does this mean? is there something about her surname that makes her important in the future? just something that didn't add up... then again does anything in Doctor Who lol, thats what makes it s bloody awesome!!!

No, the point is that Rosanna didn't bother to find out or remember the names of the girls she's sacrificing. To the Doctor, that's an unpardonable sin.

As far as I can recall The Doctor had to remind Mad Alien Fish-Woman of Isabella's name so therefore he was probably angry that she hadn't even bothered to learn the girl's name.

SNAP!!!!

Yes, because knowing someone's name is the perfect excuse for cold bloodedly murdering them.

"Sorry, what was your name, again, before I have you pushed into the water to be eaten alive?"

I think it was because it was when The Fish Lady wanted the Doctor to join her to save her race.... and she was speaking compassionatly. But when he realised she didnt know isabella's name he realised she had no humanity, and it wasnt worth him helping her and he shouldnt feel guilting killing her race.

I found Isabella's death quite sad, actually. She could have made it to safety if they'd thought to bring a sunshade

Well not only is this a very small world Simpson, but in regards to your post.... I think the Doctor was just peeved that she murdered isabella but did not even have the decency to learn her name and that really made up the Doctors mind to end this woman.

I think the point is that she was expecting the doc to have sympathy with her and the plight of her race, and thus help them. Nonwithstanding the fact that he likes humans particularly, he though it was deeply unfair of her to expect his sympathy when she was perfectly prepared to destroy another race to acheive her aims, and clearly had no sympathy for them herself. I think her omission to even learn the girl's name sort of represented that.

If any character from Twilight ever turns up on Doctor Who, I swear I will actually stop watching!

Of course she has no humanity; she's not human. As a Fish Lady, she has fishanity. Or fishiness. Or icthyanity.

The cloister bell apeared in episode 1.
Matt Smith was cast as DR 11, Matt Smith was in Secret Diary of a call girl, where the main character Billie Piper(Rose) played Belle De Jour....
