The KATY PERRY Appreciation Thread

So, basically I LOVE this girl. I loved I Kissed A Girl, loved Hot 'n' Cold, obsessed over Thinking Of You and was interested by Waking Up In Vegas. Also, One of the Boys was a very strong debut which was underrated as a record.

Now, with her new era looming, I thought I'd dedicate a thread to her whole career.

Hopefully there are other Katy fans out there.

California Gurls is a brilliant lead single and it's great it has had a positive response on here.

Her new album is called Teenage Dream, reportedly. Not the best title but still pretty fine.

It's due late August/early September and is inspired by Ace Of Base and Cyndi Lauper.

I Kissed A Girl (I love her personality in this song

)
Self Inflicted (lyrics are great)
Ur So Gay (great lyrics but quite boring melody. Still great though)
All the other singles.

I prefer Panic!, I found AFYCSO an amazing album, but love Paramore as well. I need Hayley Williams' hair. It's amazing.

If you like Katy & Paramore though, you might like these. VersaEmerge - on the same label as Paramore, with a frontwoman, pretty damn good

Has anyone seen her Unplugged session?

It was fantastic. She is awful live at festivals but was stunning on this. It made me respect her and like her more as an artist and even love her album more as i thought it was so so.
