Both MJ_lives and TylerTango's ratings are just coming up as 5 boxes to me... weird.

That's because we used the star rota, rather than numbers. I gave the album 5 stars overall though

So with the exception of the singles, what's your one stand-out track on the album people?
![]() Mine is 'Pearl'. Lovely lyrics. Just amazing. Katy might not be the best dancer or the best vocalist but she is a brilliant lyricist. |

ET! love that song so much! reminds me of something TATU may do, very kinda Euro style Pop, and of course Firework glad that's the next single, it's a real anthem! reminds me of Kelis' 4th Of July! it's great

Album arrived in a cardboard case. Booklet in a little open section and the bonus disc in another little open section on the other side when it folds out.

I love this album already and only got it yesterday.
Best tracks have to be: -Circle the drain -Teenage dream -Not like the movies -Pearl -The one that got away Adore those songs. Love the rest but on first listen those were great. I really really love 'not like the movies'....imo the song doesn't really go anywhere in terms of it being the same kinda note as the first verse but it's really catchy. Also the lyrics flow nicely. I think you can deffo tell which songs Katy wrote herself. i.e. the best tracks. |

Imported seven of the 12 songs. Pearl, Hummingbird, Fireworks, The one that got away and Who am i living for never made it to my itunes. But i tend to add more tracks if i find myself liking them a lot more. I did that with Paramore's album. Had 2 songs imported for several months and i now have just over half the album imported.

Love every single track on the album (which is good).
Loving 'E.T' and 'Circle the drain'. However I find myself going to the songs that have more meaning and no comedy effect i.e. the meaningful songs like 'pearl', 'not like the movies' (the best tracks imo). |

Last friday night. ET, Not like the movies and Circle the drain my favs. I had ET on major repeat the other day.
I think Not like the movies is absolutley gorgeous. The best ballad she has done. I am glad she fell in love with Russell. This whole album is pretty much about that and i love that. |

-Firework
-Not Like the movies -Circle the drain -Pearl -E.T. -Teenage Dream -The One That Got Away -Hummingbird Heartbeat - Last Friday Night (in no particular order!) ...that's pretty much the whole album ![]() Got to say, while California Gurls is catchy enough, and got to number one, that's credit to the album to say IMO it's one of the weaker songs (with Peacock). Oh, and a bit more appreciation for KP- Girl crush!

She has been so funny on Chatty Man. And the Teenage Dream performance is really good! Her vocal has really come on in the past two years.
