Apperantly she is headlining the IHeart Radio Festival in September, so hopefully some new material before that?

Ooh well if she is starting to do live shows again there is some hope. Also 3 years since Teenge Dream in August surely she will release something soon.

Haha Teenage Dream is one of ony a few albums of which i have never yet got bored

And i hope so too Teenage Dream was done so perfectly the only real dud the re-release but overall she really needs to stick to that formula just do it bigger

Thought I would post in this thread for the first time to mention Katy Perry is now the most followed female on Twitter. Teenage Dream really did boost her profile so much. I'll try and post in here more often since I'm a big fan of Katy.

I also heard a rumour she's filming a VMA promo video. I don't know if it's true, but if it is then there's a chance she could be performing this year too. I really hope so. I want some new music so badly.

It really did turn her into a superstar and was such a surprise after One Of the Boys performing modestly so good on her

And the VMa promo sounds awesome thogh the album might be some way off she is slowly increasing the buzz again.

I've had the Unplugged version of Ur So Gay on repeat for days. I love it!

I've been to get that on Cd for a while watched it on youtube and some of the lives versions are brillaint

I love the Unplugged album. It really shows off her voice. I think people often underrate her vocal ability.

Unfortunately I lost my copy, which is a bit annoying since I can't find it available to buy in any stores. Hopefully it'll turn up one day.

I usually always see it in Asda or HMV's 2 for 10 it's still out there

And agree peope are always so harsh about her vocal ability but take awayt eh auto tune and she is a really good vocalist. No Mariah certainely but decent enough

It was such a great show! The atmosphere was so loving, I imagine it's what a Kylie concert feels like.

Same here the only thing is i think she has to grow up and become more mature on her next record. I love the carnival party feel she pulls of but at 28 it's time she becomes more introspective. Her biggest chanllenge is growing without alienating her audience.

I love the name. She wrote a song called "Double Rainbow" so perhaps there's some connection there since prisms turn light into rainbows. With a name like "Prism" I can already tell the artwork for this era will be amazing.

I'm just excited we finally have something to go on. The way she announced it is awesome as well.

that is her challenge, but maybe she doesn't have to grow up just yet. i think her musical growth will be a gradual process, probably deliberately not to alienate her audience. people have commented that the album is dark, but "teenage dream" is so bright and maybe the album will only be dark in comparison.

i think there will be a progression and growth, but she has such a sunny disposition and i wouldn't want her not to showcase that.

I think she is very much influenced by Madonna so i can see her creating a True Blue style album. One that adresses her more pop sensibilities whilst gradually pushing forward into more adult territory. Katy really excites me as it hink she has alot more to show us than perhaps people would think they can be quite dismissive of her but Teenage Dream was a solid album.

The new album is going to be called Prism according to Katy's stylist.

I'm surprised that it is going to be released this year. I was expecting early next year.
