Kind of looks like bullshitting her way out of a hole she dug herself.
She no doubt had these issues before hand (blasphemy being used to entertain) but that Tweet was obviously directed towards Gaga and there's no point in pussyfooting around that by saying it wasn't. She was probably just pushed over the edge and decided to vent a bit.
My cynical side reckons she knew what she was doing and decided that jumping on the inevitable Alejandro media circus would be beneficial for her own video premiere.
I have no issue with her disliking the Alejandro video, it's not like she was hating on Gaga after all the praise she's offered, I think it was just a bit of a tacky move on her part to broadcast it on Twitter.
I guess it's kind of like when people post ambiguous Facebook status's in the hopes to cause a stir, but they clearly didn't have enough balls to stand behind what they said and use names

Can't wait for her new album. End of Aug is such a long time though. I can understand why it wasn't Jun or July considering the huge competition with Xtina, Miley, Drake, Eminem etc

I just had a go at several people calling Katy a slut and saying she's copying Gaga
She's clearly not a slut. If you've got it, flaunt it, that's what I say. And you can bet it's just a ton of jealous girls saying that. And as for the Gaga comparisons, they are just ridiculous. Gaga doesn't have the personality to do a video like that. Yes, she's creative, but she is quite void and a bit boring personality wise. Also, Gaga isn't even from effing California!!!
And I quite like Lady Gaga. Though I'll admit, after one watch, Alejandro and Telephone, the former especially, became boring. Too long and pointless.

I hate that word. It's horrible there is no need for it. She's not a slut, she's about to get married for christ's sake. This isn't having a go at you by the way, I just read it back
Anyway, I love Katy.
Katy is just fun pop, she isn't pretending to be something she's not and her videos generally go along with that. I rate her for that.
