I think another problem with EastEnders is that most of it's characters have no real place. What I mean is that I find it really hard to actually believe that the people that work in the many businesses could work there in real life. There are so many different settings in Walford, but many of them don't really fit.

I mean Angie's Den is one of the most rubbish places, who would go to a nightclub of that style in a dump like Walford? With no other nightlife apart from the Vic. Is the amazing "Night Caff" still open?

I cannot believe the amount of actors who are leaving EE or are being kicked out or the trouble people involved with the show are getting into...

There has been hardly a week since the start of April where there hasn't been some sort of controversy surrounding the soap, the latest being that idiot Elaine Lordan being caught smoking and drinking whilst pregnant. What a thicko.

This show needs a huge boot up the arse or I'm afraid that it will be looking forward to worse times at this there lowest point, rather than better times!

After a brief respite from losing out to Emmerdale in the ratings, EastEnders would still appear to be on the critical list after this weeks failures.

The BBC will rue the day that they decided to keep Louise Berridge who has so obviously run out of good ideas and is now nursing a stagnant flagship show that needs to be repaired and quick.

Come on Mal Young, put your foot down and ring in the changes!

One common theme in the threads comparing EE to Corrie is that Corrie is "better" as there is humour. EE humour is so forced (when it rarely occurs) that it is not funny - i.e. Alfie trying to buy condoms.

The writing on EE has to improve - surely it can't get any worse....

The renewal of the Ferrira's contract is just stupid, meaning we'll have this boring family plaguing our screens for a while with no action at all.

Having read in the "Daily Star" today it seems the only "hot" storyline that will happen in coming weeks is Dennis confronting Andy over you guessed it Kat and Alfie's split. Who wants to hear and see this shit over and over again? We've had enough give us action and this time proper action.

Last nights storyline was a joke. I mean come on it was so badly written and so predictable even a 4 year old could guess what would happen next. The acting was so bad it was almost cringe-worthy especially the performances by Christopher Parker, who was whinging like an 18 month old baby. The Ferriara storyline was total tediuim. Shame it couldn't have been the Home Office deporting them all to India with their father.

I'll keep saying this over and over, and allthough fellow members might be bored of me saying but I can see it being on BBC3 if things do not get better. It's dying a slow painful death and even people I speak to such as family, friends, teachers and colleagues say its as boring as hell and that it needs a revamp or face being axed.

Corrie and Emmerdale are getting better because they have high quality actors and good producers and script-writers and have almost ironed out the faults in the show. Deadenders has a half-soaked producer who must be the joint most hated person in the UK along with Tony Blair that has totally destroyed the show of all potential and has axed strong actors such as Charlie Brooks in favour of that crappy dirty Ferrira family.
