There's been a lot of speculation that it's anyone's game now. However am wondering if the bottom two bounce perhaps has more power than we give it credit for. So far anyone in the bottom two one week has been invincible in the next elimination.

If this carries on, then we will have Sophie and Steph in the bottom two on 'Sunday'. Whoever he saves will have strong support the week after, at least at the first sing off. Let's assume he saves Steph, as otherwise he would look to be rating Sophie above Stephanie Davies which I think is unlikely - unless she seriously pulls something out of the bag this week, or Steph's super-bojangled. Also, Sophie is more of a threat to his "chosen one", being more popular with the public thus far (having only been bottom two once), and we know what happens to people cursed to have the public support! (ie Jessica, Jenny, and Stephanie.....) So it's goodbye Sophie :'(

So Steph has the invincibility shield in the first sing-off of the final. The first sing off will then be Danielle and Lauren. She will therefore get through to the top two, with either Danielle or Lauren.

As I just can't envisage anyone being saved over Danielle by ALW this means the top two will be Danielle and Steph. This is where it gets interesting as the public get to vote!

Now the bottom two bounce reigns supreme. Danielle, having narrowly escaped elimination earlier in the programme, is safe and will win.

We therefore have the following result - from first place to fourth:

1) Danielle
2) Steph
3) Lauren
4) Sophie


Would be interested to hear any other theories or guesses as to the order the girls will go in..

And yeah, I haven't really allowed for performance on the night, but since when has this come into it..

Won't bother voting this weekend because it's a complete waste of time.

But logically either Sophie or Steph will go because ALW would save Danielle or Lauren over either of them in a sing-off.

I suspect it might be Sophie.

Then it finally becomes genuinely interesting and truly representational once ALW loses his tedious vote.

Lauren will be the first to go in the final.

Then it becomes a straight fight between Danielle and Steph, with probably a number of switched votes eventually giving the latter the edge.

Meanwhile, the best candidates (including the two most ideally suited to the role) have already been eliminated.

I think that Sophie may well be saved over Steph as I think ALW sees something in her for his Dorothy that rates her above Steph.

There is an endearing quality to her work and I think he is looking for this . I am not at all sure he would save Lauren again , remember effectively she was told she was chosen over Jenny as she bonded beter with the dog

I also think that if Danielle has another poor song this week she is a goner but if she does another performance like Mambo Italiano she will be a shoe in . Though you have to wonder how strong her fanbase is that even one weeks poor perfoemance is not giving her enough votes to aviod the bottom 2

There are no sing-offs in the final. There will be one in the semi-final, but that's the last one. The final will be decided entirely by public vote.

Unless Danielle and Lauren are in the bottom two together, I think we can pretty much say they're in the final.

No matter what, Danielle's in the final. Her fans may as well save up their money and use it in the final for her.

I get the feeling Andrew quite loves Sophie and rates her above Steph.

With Lauren and Danielle being in the bottom two last week, I think their fans will be voting like crazy this weekend.

I also think Steph fans will feel she's not safe and also vote like crazy.

So, I think Sophie's definitely in the bottom two, but I thought this last week.

I think Lauren will join Sophie in the bottom two and it's goodbye to Sophie.

Darn, didn't realise this. I'm going to have to reformulate my entire Dorothy Theorem.

Knowing ALW's going to surrender so much control to the public, I might actually watch the final now just to laugh at the extent of the manipulation. Never mind a lone swing.. It'd explain where the backing dancers were last weekend, probably training up for the trapeze.

I think ALW will now save Sophie against all-comers, hence his comment about having plenty of time before the show and maybe also the comment about having spotted something.

Remember he's casting the part of Dorothy not the best MT all-rounder which is obviously Lauren.

I think it could be a Sophie/Steph sing-off in which case I think ALW will save Sophie. So Lauren, Danielle and Sophie in the final.

I think ALW wants Danielle and Lauren as the final 2 - whether he gets that is another matter. My favourites have gone so I'm not bothered about who wins but I'd rank them

1 Danielle - looks right and is a good all rounder
2 Steph - the dark horse for me - didn't think she was right at the start but she's won me around.
3 Sophie (not sure she's ready for the role but she has a innocence about her and a sweet natural voice. Also I prefer her to Lauren)
4 Lauren - very professional, arguably best musical theatre voice but too sophisticated and 'actressy' to play Dorothy imo.

1. Danielle.....Pure evil. Just right for the part.
2. Steph, a right cow. Almost right for the part, she just needs to be a little more evil, like Danielle....
3. Sophie... lunatic. She's not evil, she's just crazy
4. Lauren. far too sweet to play evil Dorothy. She should play snow white.

Even though I love Danielle, I want her to go next week just so all of you can be proved wrong

ALW is v fond of Sophie. She was good with the dog, looks 'homespun', and is perhaps less of a threat to Danielle in his mind.

Think it will be Sophie vs Steph, think steph will go.

Traditionally person saved in last sing off goes out first on finals night, so Sophie would be third.

Lauren is, to me, wonderful, but hasn't much support as far as I can gather. I am basing this on comments I eavesdropped on last Sunday at an OTR singing event. I have every intention of doing a write-up about this soon. Bear with me.

So if this pans out Danielle wins.

However...

we the public can do very wacky and annoying things when we want to can't we? I don't care who wins now because Jess got shafted last week. Talk about Bo Jangles, that friggin hat alone put her in trouble!

As a Lauren fan, I'm looking forward to your write-up.

But that's also when the top 2 have never been in a sing off...I think with the voting so close, whoever is saved in the sing off next week has as good a chance as everyone else, just due to the unpredictability of the voting.

I think Lauren got her bounce during the second vote period on sat.
So I think it will be a Lauren Steph sing off.
Not sure who will be saved.

The longer voting time during the final works for whichever of the girls attracts most multi-vote voters on a normal week.

So I think whoever is saved out of Lauren and Steph will be the first to leave on finals night leaving a flat battle between Danielle and Sophie, and it could go either way.

The only two convincing, believable Dorothy's left are Danielle and Sophie. Lauren and Steph look way to streetwise to convince people they believe in this land over the rainbow, with munchins, tinmen etc

Well I hate saying this because I want danielle to win but if we go by the order
Week 1: Steph saved
Week 2: Lauren saved
Week 3: Danielle Saved
Week 4: Sophie Saved
Week 5: Steph Saved
Week 6: Lauren saved, Danielle Saved
so if the pattern continues it must mean steph and sophie are in the bottom 2 with Sophie being saved
So week 7: Sophie
so as finals is no sing off you continue the usual order and get
3rd Lauren
2nd Danielle
1st Sophie

But i will not let that happen Danielle has to win!!!
