It's unlikely they get to choose. Frankly, I can't see any of them choosing most of those outfits! Also I think contestants on previous series have said they don't get to choose.
I think Jenny and Steph's Dorothy colours work well with black. Or they have at some point put their foot down and said I'm not wearing that.
Although Jenny was only in black for her first and last performances, and how sad is it I remember that without even looking.
