I've been checking a few furniture things out for about a week now yet none of the stores local to me have any in stock. How long does it normally take for them to get stock back in?

That's one of those "how long is a piece of string?" questions for us on here as they're relying on different manufacturers for different products.

All you can do is ask them about a specific item. At least then they can give you an expected date.

I suggest that you go elsewhere, especially if you are buying furniture from there.

It was just a desk for my computer to go on and have a little office. I might have a look about elsewhere.

Don't bother. Argos are peddling a lie. They have a catalogue jam packed full of stuff - that the stores can't stock. So they have a selection of each type of item and rotate them around. So if what you want isn't in stock now it probably won't be for ages. Shop eleswhere if I were you.

Its funny how when you go to Argos and try and buy an cheaper item it's out of stock but they allways have the next most expensive item in stock. hmmmmm

They seem to carry very little stock in their places. They make me laugh with their offer on certain items buy 2 and get the 3rd free.
I buy blank DVD's there but if you ever try to buy 2 they never have the 3rd, and have to wait till they restock and then only always have 2 in stock.

It was this i was looking at which seemed alright for the price and would mean taking up less room for my stuff. The warehouse has never had it in stock either so it's not like they have a warehouse full of them but the stores don't. I'm thinking they might increase the price when they get them back because i think this was over 30 a few months ago.
