Maybe, I can't remember. I doubt I'd have been able to look after myself enough to have my own place though, to be honest.

If you look beyond the facial hair, he does look younger than is apparent.

Just because someone doesn't like them it doesn't make them envious. Just because that's what they want to do with their lives doesn't make them better than anyone.

The Zoe girl is like one of those Chuggers that accost you in the street and try weasel your credit card number out of you by sheer force of their over familiar and zealous characters.

I like Adam the Artful Dodger market trader. He made me laugh when he was in the boardroom and said 'yes siralun...er Lord'...sweet

Jordan, blimey a cross between George Osbourne and Michael Gove.

George Osbourne for thinking he was competent and Michael Gove for appearance.

No wonder I had the unworthy thought of wanting to punch a 16 year old.

It sounds like a character from a children's story. Little Lord Sugar who owns the sweetie factory.

I thought Sir Alan sounded better, but now he is a Lord he has to be known by his surname.

I think they made in mistake of getting rid of Jordan too early. He was very unlikeable but he could have provided some great tv over the coming weeks.

If it were me, I'd rather enjoy my childhood and adolescence than be suited and booted and working already. You've got the rest of your life to work, I thoroughly enjoyed being a teenager and had loads of fun. If that means renting until I'm 40 so be it, having property and money isn't the be all and end all.

How do you know he isn't enjoying being a teenager?

Already had my own house at 18 and still managed to not act like a tit.

It was great viewing but made me feel slightly wrong to watch a bunch of kids and decide which one I hated the most (Jordan obviously)

I think what many people don't realise is that when somebody "gives up their childhood" to run a business, practice an instrument, study a subject or do whatever else they are passionate about is to these people it is preferable to doing what most kids do day in day out. In any case, if you want to be the best at what you do, you've got to live your life differently to the majority, otherwise you'll end up just being average. Truth is, these kids will end up better off than the majority who apparently "have to" have time to "just be kids".

Very fair point. Not all kids want to hang out and do nothing. It isn't about 'giving up' anyway. It's about having ambition and wanting to be better than the 'average'.

I salute them.

And I think Jordan isn't a twerp, but just has zero people skills. Classic geek. Sometimes the very intelligent have to cultivate charm when they grow older. I know some very clever geeks and brilliant academics who have never managed to acquire any!

I agree. I've worked with people twice his age or more who are brilliant in their chosen field and have minds that I could only dream of and yet struggle to hold a conversation and find buying lunch in M&S an impossible challenge.

Peter Jones is a good example. He is very close to the line between millionaire and geek. Not suggesting he has no people skills but if you look past the bank balance and the suit there is a geek there.

I agree. I suspect he will give it to the person he feels has the most potential & needs the money the most. He goes for the lump of coal over the diamond usually.

Some of these kids on here actually look about 12, not 17, like they claim. It is rather cringeworthy watching this junior version of the show, some of them kids are not likeable at all, know-it-alls and quite bitchy, thank God one has been fired
