I assumed that Adam would go home to recover but then be back after a few days - perhasp he will be back to join the teams in next week's episode (or the one after). But most people in the thread seem to be assuming that he's gone forever

I think Chris Fluffy is suggesting that all younger people (his definition of age rather than the law's) are on TV or anywhere else as some sort of sexual tease. Maybe he just saw Zoe and got obsessed. In which case stop taken the tabloids. And quoting the Radio Times isn't in the same league as a letter to The Times.

I do see the point about society (more so American) that he's making. Just it's couched in such terms and targetted at a something that makes an effort NOT to be as he thinks, that you wonder what is really behind his views.

That's what I thought too. On the website his picture is not blacked out and in the recap it just says he was sent home to "rest and recover", which suggests to me its just temporary.

On the same BBC website under the clip for Ep4 they say
'Discover what challenges await our six remaining candidates next week.' So unclear.

With three episodes to go, at what point is there a mass firing?

Interesting... I wonder what really happened?

I wished Rhys had stayed. The blonde one should've gone. Sits back and does nothing.

You haven't really thought that one through, have you?

Did you think all 10 take part in all the tasks and are then skillfuly edited out as LS decides who has to go each week?

The online papers say he's gone and the Mirror has interviews with both Adam and Rhys.

My take on it is that it was the right decision based partly on the fact that he did not do much in the task, however, I do agree with you completely that the three of them behaved disgracefully in marginalising him from the start - he was never going to survive that.

I think the main problem was their unwillingness to take him at all seriously seeing as he looks more like a 13 year-old rather than 16. He doesn't even look as if he has started puberty yet.

It is sad that regardless over whatever he has up there (*taps his head*) he is going to be judged on appearence.

I think this is the first time I have agreed with the sacking yet had the utmost sympathy for the sacked.

He was always going to be a dead man walking for the most shallow of reasons from the start.

Agree. I think he has a problem with his height and youthful appearence. But that could change soon enough. Smart brain and I don't think he did or said anything to be embarrassed about. Had a point when brught up the team didn't support him. But then didn't seem to make any attempt to get them onside early on.

I've just noticed that this is in the TV programme part of the thread.

So what happened to The Apprentice having its own thread? And also where people are posting within 'The Apprentice' thread itself?

Are there any plans to merge them? Or is it going to be like two POV completely?

Just to add to my last post.

In my own opinion, The Apprentice should have its own thread and not be all over the place and in different parts of the forum.

Surely peeps here in the TV section will agree with that. I'm sure that they won't want RTV mixed up with all their other regular TV stuff?

Sorry but have to come in and say this:

The lad Rhys really was a complete and utter joke, there is no way in hell he is ever going to make it in business, He cant talk, he cant sell, he cant give or take orders, he is cringeworthy to listen to, and generally comes across as a dunce.

I have to ask how he got on this program in the first place? Because I know for sure that at 16 I was far more business savvy and intelligent that that kid.

Completely deserved to go, he was a a complete disaster from start to finish.

He also has a really annoying face/voice and wears a suit about 5 times too big for him.

eh, I think the problems was more that he acted younger than he was. Not suggesting that rhys was doing it intentionally, but he has retained a certain timidity, exaggerated/lopsided facial expression and various other boyish mannerisms that normally vanish by 17. On the other hand, arjan looks even younger than rhys but his confidence and how he carries himself bring him across as commanding more respect.

Adam Eliaz i dont beleive has actually left. I'm sure he's only been sent home to recover as sir alan said keep in touch, there would be no reason to say this if he fired him also on The Apprentice website Adam Eliaz is not greyed out unlick rhys. So i'd imagine that Adam Eliaz should be coming back for next week.

Maybe im wrong from this news article;

http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv-entertain...5875-22287526/

But then again these are films months ahead of the show going to TV so we might just have to wait and see, obviously all of them are back doing what they are doing but why aint adam grey out on the website.

I think Adam probably found it too stressful and had an emotionally challenging time so the producers decided to write him out of the show.
Rhys can't be take seriously and will probably end up rich but not by managing people.
Arjun has such a sweet face and has a good brain but is slightly under the radar so should manage a task soon. Tim is a shirker who must prove himself next week or be fired . He's a bit of a looker if you like the bearded geeky type

I just hope that Lord Sugar looking to his left before saying 'You're Fired' in the preview clip is not actually the real clip. Otherwise thats a big give away to the next person being fired!

The sacking was fair, the guy did nothing and then said he was being singled out. If he found his voice and actually just did something then it wouldn't be the case. He was only singled out, because the others actually covered for him.

I do believe there was two 'sackings' if you like to call them that. Adam was clearly struggling both in the task and just in general to the point it not only affected him and his team. Illness is not an excuse in the business world and for his own health was the right thing to do. Although it does raise a question as Lord Sugar never properly fired him unless it was simply due to him being nice about it and understanding the situation.

I had a very strong feeling that Rhys would be fired in this way, I did think that Tim would go but Rhys isnt up for it he looks way too young and that was his problem everyone just ignores him, when they were selling the cakes and the cheese the first week member of the public just didnt buy anything off him because they thought he was an annoying kid.

By looking again at next weeks preeview it looks like Sir alan points to
Spoiler
Emma or Arjun but i doubt it will be Arjun.

Agreed, and I think thats a shame but its simply human nature. I would be way more inclined to buy a cupcake off one of the attractive blondes rather than a youthful looking kid. I guess this is just a truthful aspect of business which is unavoidable - ie. your physical looks play more of a part than many believe.

Think it was pretty obvious that Rhys had it spot on that Tim & Hannah undermined him throughout the task, setting him up to be fired as PM. But having said that, LS fully picked up on that in the boardroom, and has marked both their cards on that one imho. And Rhys was the right one to go as well for me, he spent the last two tasks rolling his eyes at the other PMs doing exactly the same things he did in that one...

Adam looks like he is gone for good judging by the article on DS this morning

I wouldn't buy a cupcake from someone who touched his mouth so often. The kid had a permanent dribble, most off putting.
That together with the nasal speech might suggest a visit to an ENT specialist.

Does anyone else think Rhys is gay?
