Having a bit of a dither here at the moment -since Duncan has been on steroids he has been putting on weight at an incredible rate, so we have him on a diet. Looking at his food today 1/3rd can of complete low calorie special diet wet dog food and a carrot. He is starving hungry all the time - has taken to stealing if he can or eating dog poo !
Now coming off the steroids is not an option but starving him seems so wrong too.
He cannot eat meat (allergies) and rice is off the menu too.
The only protein he can eat is fish.
The other main ingredient he can eat is potatoes.
So would you let him put on weight whilst feeding him a healthy (for him) diet or would you carry on the starvation route to keep him lithe.
