I'm not really a fan of her. I like a few of her songs but I really liked Acapella.

I... "previewed" () Flesh Tone and every track is just some dated dance/house track with her vocals.

The album is pretty much the same pace all the way through and gets really tiring.

Has anyone heard it?

Yeah I didn't expect the entire album to have this house/trance feel to it. I've just downloaded Brave, 22nd Century and Home from itunes - the best tracks from it. Actually Brave is very good..it has to be single, much better than Acapella.

It's out Monday

Kelis isn't an album artist although her third album which is her best selling album to date is a good r&b album. So i am not expecting anything great from the album but i will check it out as i could be suprised.

Its a great album and its unfair to call it dated. Its a shame she went with David Guetta but he hasnt f**ked it up as much as id expected. The only track I hate is Emancipate - absolutely awful. The rest are top quality tracks. Better to have 9 good tracks than 15 filler and 5 listenable.

The album has leaked but only about 8 tracks but the tracklisting on wiki lists at least 14/15

There are around 15 tracks altogether however there are actually only 9 songs. The other 6 are like short instrumentals between the songs.

Some of the instrumentals sound better than the songs :|

Just finished listening ot it and I think it's great. It's all dance music so if that's not your thing then you'll hate it. It's nothing like any of her previous albums

But they all sound the same. The flow of every song is very similar, more like a compilation of dance tracks than an album. If there was some playing around with the pace... e.g. she had a couple of less upbeat song, something more subtle, it might have worked better but because every track is similar it gets boring.

Even though it is so different to Kelis' usual material, I guarantee you'll love it
