Advocate for dogs

how often does the stuff have to be used?

we've an older dog who is eating a lot of grass, so asked the vet if it was worth doing her for lung worm, or not

it wasn't me who went to the vet so i don;t have a clue what was said. they need flea-ing so i got some bob martin from the shop while i was in there the other day (the one with the same active ingredient as frontline) so now we've got that, and the advocate.

result was that my mum came home with two tubes of advocate, one for each dog hoever i can;t find in the info how often they need to be done for it - some say anually, others monthly, so i'm confused.

if it is monthly, generally they can jog on with the cost of it. even though it does worm as well as flea them

i'd rather keep them on milbemax every three months for worms and flea them regularly with a cheaper product

Am I the only one who thought this thread was about having someone to speak up for dogs?
maybe

joy... thanks for that
i think we'll stick with milbemax & cheaper flea stuff then.

i know you're supposed to flea them monthly, but we do it every three months, same as worming

we must be pretty low risk for fleas anyway as with doing this we've never had them
