Sophie and Steph - individually are more likeable and more like Dorothy than either Danielle or Lauren.

Team Lauren and Danielle. I don't care how likeable they are, just as long as they can do the job. And when you go to see a musical where the parts have been cast via the normal process, you haven't got a clue about their personalities.

Yeah, I know, but in terms of tonight, and the fact that they were split into two groups, who did you prefer?

SOPHIE! The others were harsh on the ear, I had my back turned to the TV and it was really noticeable.

Speaking of teams, did anyone else notice in Sophie and Steph's duet that when Steph sang "If you root for different teams" she pointed directly at John? After hearing his comments tonight, especially towards her, am not so sure ...

Sophie and Steph from the very beginning they were my faves and I caught that they were friends.
Is sad Sophie did not get to sing Popular because apparently she auditioned with it? On the other hand now Monkseal is almost certain to write about lesbian bathtime orgies so it's swings and roundabouts really.
I have to say, warmed to Danielle and Lauren too. Danielle may just have taken the second spot from Sophie. So glad everyone likes Sophie and Steph though! They were the underdogs and somehow they survived!

I definately think Lauren and Danielle were better in the duet, and in the solos as well. They were both fantastic - and Lauren was much more Dorothyish tonight than usual for me because she seemed younger.

I'd like to mix and match and make a Team Danielle & Steph!

But you buy into their performance - I don't buy into Lauren or Danielle's performances as Dorothy. Danielle - too wooden, dull and controlled for Dorothy. Lauren - too polished and prim for Dorothy.

For me, Steph and Sophie have that wide-eyed enthusiasm, a naivety and fun factor that Dorothy should have.

In terms of duets, Danielle and Lauren were by far the better, even though Steph and Sophie had the better song.

Team Sophie and Steph for me. Love their wide eyed enthusiasm and beautiful voices.

That would have been my preferred combination too.
