I'm good thanks Sid, just really p'd off with Mr Cake cos he was on phone for first two songs (I've unappreciated him on relevant thread!) so had to watch with sound turned down. Lauren and Danielle duet- Not a fan of the song in the show, but I enjoyed it.

Lauren - I thought Lauren's performance was the best, despite being a Danielle fan, her beginning was beautiful.

Danielle - Second favourite performance of the show. A bit wobbly,off and shouty at times, but when she was on she was on.

Sophie - Quite liked it, was an okay performance. A bit weak at times and lacked a little oomph. A bit boring.

Sophie and Steph duet

Steph - It was okay, just not her best, very bland.

Lauren is just too clinical for me and Steph seems to have lost her mojo

You didn't miss much from Steph (I hate being critical of her but it was a bit pedestrian really). Sophie's worth a listen to on iplayer later though

Pizza sounds good. Save me a slice of that and cake please - I'll make myself a cuppa in the meantime.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I think, reading between the lines that he would rather like Sophie to be Dorothy. Of course Danielle is his obvious favourite but he was less than gushing about Lauren, saying she doesn't show enough vulnerability and Steph he was very dismissive of (as he has been pretty much from the beginning).

Couldn't agree more. I'm a fan of Steph, but worried after tonights performances.

Meanwhile sophier flourished, and Lauren is almost too polished. Takes me back to my youth where I used to play in a jazz band. Our highly accomplished pianist (who is now Organist and Musical Director at a very large Cathedral) was once described by a jazz enthusiast as "he never plays any wrong notes, but he doesn't hit any right ones either". Lauren is the same.

Based on tonight I liked Sophie better but I've been jumping between Sophie and Danielle for weeks and can't decide which one I like better.

God you're greedy. You can have a bit of the pizza once I've picked off all the black olives, artichokes, mushrooms, cheese and tomato (i.e. you can have the flour and water bit ...) Wish somebody would start a spoiler. REALLY don't want to wiat till tomorrow for result.

Thought both the duets and the group song were really good however I was rather distracted by the outfits in 'Wash that man' as Sophie only needed a string of pearls to look the spitting image of Wilma Flintstone

I want Danielle to win. Thought her acting in front of ALW was very moving and there is a lot of acting in the role. I was supporting Steph but not enjoyed her in the last two weeks. Her posture is very hunched up as well. Lauren is a bit up herself. Sophie is lovely but not sure she can carry the role.
