No one's talking about "crisis talks" due to 8pm starts. But one of your points in your previous post was "traditionally BB rates just as well at 8pm as it does at 9pm" which isn't the case from past figures.

“BB8 and 9 are somewhat irrelevant- the new ratings climate for BB comes after CBB6 where its been knocked down to its core audience (CBB7 aside).”
I only brought up the BB8/BB9 figures because you said "traditionally", so I thought you were also referring to older series like BB8 and BB9.
Looking at CBB6, the 8pm Wednesday episode was down 18% from the previous two Wednesday episodes which aired at 9pm. That's a big week-on-week fall - probably only 2nd to the fall seen between launch and following week.
In BB10, the Week 7 Sunday episode at 9pm was up 28% from the previous Sunday episode which aired at 8pm. Once again, the change in timeslot contributed to a major difference of about a quarter of the audience size. The 8pm Tuesday show in the final week of BB10 held up better, but that ought to be expected as it was a pre-eviction show just a few days before the final which didn't air against any soaps (unlike the upcoming few episodes).
