Guessing that doesn't include +1 as DS usually note it separately. Doubt it will add much to the second show but the first show could see a decent increase.

If thats the case i really hope teh first show adds like 700k or something... i dont understand how it could be that low... i just dont get it. It doesnt make any sense to me. How a eviction show can be the joint lowest rating of the series on par with a Saturday... really?

We told them that three years ago! Indeed despite all it's self inflicted problems, one of the biggest factors in the demise of the eviction shows at least has to be ITV introducing a regular 8.30pm Corrie on a Friday, which saw the eviction shows pushed 30 minutes later.
PJ Millar - how many viewers did the 2 BB shows get on +1? And what did Portugal v Brazil get on BBC1 earlier on (including HD)?
Poor ratings for BB yesterday. Basically, exactly the same 'non +1' numbers as the 2nd eviction got last year. Jonathan Ross did quite well.

It was very warm outside, the eviction had an inevitable outcome (regardless of the crowd chants) and there was no other programmes on to pull people to sit in front of the TV.
In some cases i actually wonder if big football matches have been helping BB by bringing and audience to them, something BB sadly isn't capable of on it's own any more.

That's almost double what the last series got, so that's impressive.
As for tonight, I do remember that in the early nineties, the BBC schedulers were told never ever to move Star Trek The Next Generation unless it was absolutely essential because if it was delayed by so much as a minute, thousands of Trekkies would phone and complain. I think the same may be true with Doctor Who.

You don't need to post repeatedly. The rating posted on DS does not include +1. I'm sure a +1 rating will come out at some point, but repeatedly posting 'Anyone?' will not make it appear quicker.

I can see why they'd want to put tennis on BBC One tonight, and I can see how they could just about make a case for justifying it, but if the decision fell to me, I'd leave well alone, and let the Doc have his scheduled slot.

I really wouldn't worry about it Salv - it's been axed anyway, and C4 are killing it off in a couple of weeks with all the 8pm shows anyway.
Yes, this weeks eviction figure (without C4+1) was low, but not so low to spend all Saturday afternoon worrying about it.

People are sick of it basically. This is why it's only getting 2 million viewers and Channel 4 are cancelling it. It's the same old junk year after year and only the hard core fans are watching now.

Ahh well, the important thing is that Im enjoying and everyone i know is too... i will try not to care about the ratings, but i do know that the 1st show will be around 2.7m with the +1 i reckon... or near that.

Not to discuss Hollyoaks again, but it does have a mountain to climb, to get viewers back.

Does it really matter how low BB falls now? It's been axed and there's no chance of it coming back on CH4 so CH4 are hardly going to be worried about the below par ratings-that's why it was axed in the first place! Like other people have been saying people are bored of the same format. Yes they have put more effort in this series, but everything has to come to an end sometime.
Though considering how low the eviction was, I am very surprised to see the IT Crowd near 2m. Very good result.

Well Murray's game wont start til after 5.15 now so I reckon it'll be a case of BBC Two and then back to One at 19:00 if it looks close / a good game...
Shame as Dr Who will get even more of a battering tonight now
Note - Uruguay vs South Korea on ITV1 is 1-1, if it stays like that, the match will go into extra time and possibly penalties, meaning ITV1's broadcast will go beyond 17:15 and You've Been Framed! will either be dumped or shortened.
Extra time and penalties are when the WC ratings are going to shoot up. Uruguay vs South Korea looks like its heading that way, so might not finish till 5.30 ish. The US vs. Ghana could easily go down that route too. Personally I cant see England vs Germany going to ET.
