It seems to be particularly the case in Australia. America's Got Talent certainly doesn't skew young, but with about 35-40% aged 18-49 in most episodes, it falls between DWTS (25-30% 18-49) and American Idol (45-50% 18-49). SYTYCD skews very young as well, as much or more than Idol though we saw that wasn't replicated here. In that case I wonder if it was just to do with the channels it was on? FOX in the US skews the youngest by a few years, BBC talent shows here tend to skew older.

Did RTL really put much money into it anyway?
I wouldn't have thought Sky would be allowed and what would ITV actually do with it?
But I do wonder what Warner Bros would hope to do. The only one of their shows currenty on Five is The Mentalist. And the requirement to put out stuff like Live From Studio Five would surely put them off? They'd find it easier just to set up a channel like TNT in the UK.

Holding up pretty well. It does seem a bit more ITV1 material than Channel 4 but Davina may have found herself another job for when BB finishes.
