Anyone here know what BBC1 have planned for Sunday 30th May, 21:00 ... Radio Times seems to have it blank?
Isn't it Bank Holiday Sunday?

ok back to CBS, as I see it CBS has 18, 1 hour slots on its schedule, 3 hours x 6 days. (ive paired up the 30 minute comedys at random)

and CBS has 18 hours worth of programs, so we may not hear much tomorrow, other than timeslots.

Current Shows
1) CSI
2) CSI Miami
3) CSI NY
4) Criminal Minds
5) NCIS
6) NCIS: LA
7) The Amazing Race
8) Survivor
9) Medium
10) The Mentalist
11) The Good Wife
12) Rules of Engagement / How I Met Your Mother
13) Two & Half Men / The Big Bang Theory

New Shows
14) Defenders
15) Hawaii 5-0
16) Blue Bloods
17) Criminal Minds (spin off)
18) Mike & Molly / Bleep My Dad Says

Undercover Boss has 2nd series, so things could move, but really CBS needs something for midseason

Schedules are confirmed tomorrow. No idea what's on BBC One.

A couple of ITV commissions today:

- 'Come Rain, Come Sunshine': a 2 hour drama starring Sir David Jason as a working class Londoner. More details here. Will probably rate well due to the star name involved.
- 'A:3K Football': a one-off 90 minute football event to be aired this summer that pits six top professional soccer players against each other at London's O2 Arena in "gladiatorial" soccer games. More here.

Not confirmed but quite possible ITV will strip Corrie at 9pm during BGT week, with BGT at 8pm and results at 9.30pm...

Just heard that

ABC might grab Old Christine...
ABC Studios also share ownership of Ghost Whisperer and they've been rumoured to have some interest in that.

Not sure why they're interested in Old Christine, it's a Warner Bros production and doesn't get great ratings.

You know what, that might be scheduling genius. ITV have a massive storyline coming to a climax, plus a transition to HD as well. Would be a superb way to raise its ratings.

Dreadful idea, IMO. BGT will suffer from 8pm starts, Eastenders clashes on Monday and Friday and I'll bet that the audience doesn't really come back for the results show at 9.30pm.

That would not be a wise idea at all IMO. What's the point of messing around with a winning formula which works? The earlier start would dent BGT, and I don't really see the point of splitting it into 2 shows just to boost Corrie a little bit for the week. I don't think it'll happen.

I wouldn't call it dreadful, as whilst BGT may suffer a little, it would bolster the schedule overall, and it would easily overcome EastEnders, or they could easily move everything 30 minutes later on Monday and Friday if they don't want BGT to be dented. I think the audience would come back for the results, as that's when the shows were peaking last year, and I heard they're having big name guests on this year, which could boost it. I presume they're hoping it'll give Coronation Street a long-term boost for the Summer.

Also, that football special on ITV over the Summer doesn't sound bad, but they'll need to get some big names involved.

Can't believe ABC cancelled Romantically Challenged. Stupid decision with it's current ratings IMO.

Castle's done well this season, one of the only ABC progs to do so.

Eeek at CSI: Miami; the wheels really are coming off that franchise.

Very good for House and 24.

Oh no at Chuck, but it has been renewed, so what the heck. Still can't believe L&O was cancelled, should have had a 13 episode season to wrap it all up, and beat Gunsmoke.

Im in the middle of those two schools of thought. I like the idea but BGT may be dented in the 8pm hour and I feel BBC would get away without a thrahsing in the 9pm hour. Corrie would get a big boost but they could have used those slots to give a new show a really big boost.

There was a report in the papers a couple of weeks ago that Ronaldo was being paid a ridiculous amount of money to appear - something like six weeks wages!

I'd rather Corrie be stripped at 8pm and BGT put at 8.30pm if it keeps it's 90 minutes slots.

If they went the way of last year, 20:30 to 22:00 for each day, what gets a boost? Nothing really - apart from News at Ten, and even then they had to promote a 'BGT story' around it.

By doing 20:00 to 21:00 and 21:30 to 22:00, it means you have a show like Coronation Street in the middle that could get a boost. I don't think there's anything wrong with the idea if another show gets a boost off it.

I don't it's logistically possible. They won't be able to fit in 8 acts in 1 hour.

Which one?

Both have a chance anyway, just need to wait and see what ABC say. Their upfront presentation is in 3 hours in New York, someone might say something there.

Where has the UK ratings thread gone?
Dissappeared into tedium with a look at last nights ratings, I think.

I took one look at them this morning and couldn't be bothered to make a comment.

Wormwood Scrubs is doing well and deserves a mention though. High Street Dreams on the other hand, is awful and should be on BBC Two.

I thought they were cutting it to six per show this year, although I may have misunderstood or it could have just been a rumour.

also axed, I just forgot to mention, Gary Unmarried.

CBS now looks to be a case of rearranging things to help launch the new series, hopefully "Bleep My Dad Says" gets a Monday night slot, with How I Met Your Mother, Two & Half Men & The Big Bang Theory, for company.

For what its worth, Applause Store has the start time for the Britain's Got Talent live shows (until Wednesday, anyway...) as 18:30, which to me suggests a start of 20:00. Although Coronation Street surely wouldn't be the 21:00 filler everyday, otherwise it'd have 7 episodes in one week (the 2 normal 19:30 slots, with 5 21:00 slots)
