There would be no discussion. What's the point of a thread if you only have one opinion?

I'm not sure why you started thread to be honest, it was a bit of a rant, there is Plenty of other threads about Danielle's apparent lack of charisma. what do you expect, people to come in and agree. It sounded a bit mean to be honest. Danielle has worked just as hard as the others. and deserves to be there.

Good Luck to Danielle I think she is a super talent .I think they all have a great future ahead and I would be over the moon to see any of them .I certainely wouldnt cry .

hahaha this whole thread made me laugh it makes it seem like a life or death situation!!! For goodness sakes it's only a tv show. All of them will probably be offered jobs after this show and have a successful career and good luck to them all! As I've said on a different thread each of those girls are genuinely lovely.Yet on here we seem to make them out to all be monsters. They are only human and funnily enough very good friends. Why do we have to make this so personal? It's true I am desperate for Danielle to win but I respect them all greatly for what they are doing. They have some guts! They also have their own individual abilities. Danielle is brilliant with acting but I can't dispute that Lauren has a flawless vocal. In terms of the favouritism thing well that's just silly. The judges have never said downright Danielle should win! They may have said some lovely things about her but they've been just as complimentary of other contestants too. If you had noticed not all the judges think the same thing anyway. Every single week Charlotte Church is going over the top about Lauren and putting down some of the others unfairly. Each judge is entitled to their own opinion and you know what that's their job. The understand the business and what is needed. No one has to agree with them. We are all entitled to our opinion. All they are providing is wisdom. So enough with all the favouritism business and just realise each one of those girls is a truly lovely human being who we should all respect!

But there's limited discussion - it's all :yawn: and "how mature", "couldn't you have posted this elsewhere", "another Danielle bashing thread". Post if you can be constructive but just rolling eyes and complaining about the OP is just stupid and a waste of time. You're only winding yourselves up.

There are too many Thread Police around atm.

It's an open board. People can start as many threads as they like and about anything/anyone (within reason). If you don't like them, don't respond. If not many people resond the thread will die. If not it must be a popular thread.

It wasn't mean at all. And I never said she doesn't deserve to be there. I just don't want her to win it but if she does then so be it. I wont really cry, I wont go to the show, and we will all live happily ever after!!

You can talk about whatever you want, it's a free board afterall - just expect a bit of backlash like Danielle is getting.

I'm not wound up about the threads, it's a reality show and people like to debate. It'd be even more limited, it'd be dead if no one disputed a post.

Start as many threads about anyone as you like. As far as I know this is an open board. Don't take any notice of the thread police.

If Danielle wins I'll be crying too but they will be tears of joy.

She looks like a Dorothy, has the personality, talent and stamina for the character.

I don't mind the backlash, it's the personal comments directed towards me I cannot stand. People really should get a grip and realise this is forum discussing reality TV, some will have one favourite and some will have another.

Ok my opening probably did sound a bit OTT but I thought folks were intelligent enough to understand I don't mean I will actually cry! I never said I hated her, I never said anything nasty, I said she is sickly sweet. Like butter wouldn't melt. Nothing nasty. But some people feel the need to attack me for having an opinion and that is totally uncalled for.

I really wish I hadn't wasted the last half hour of my life if I'm being honest.

I'm extremely calm. and I'm sure everyone excepts your apology. But it is not needed.

If Danielle wins...I will cry and shout and jump up and down.

And if she doesn't win...I will still do those things.

I agree we don't need to get personal and I don't think many people would actually talk negatively of the girls as people, only as contestants.

But that's the thing. They are contestants in a show and they will be praised as well as criticised. All part of the parcel.

If Danielle wins it will be because people voted for her because they think she deserves it...and for no other reason.....

If that means some people will choose not to go and see her perform....I doubt she'll notice...

If Danielle wins, I will be very happy and I would start seriously considering a trip to the UK next year to go see her in the show.

It means everybody has been manipulated into voting for her, so it won't be fair at all

Yeah I know, that's my point. They are contestants, they and their fans must expect it. I expect it and it's fun to have a bit of challenge to our own opinions.

And you feel your opinion on the subject outranks Andrew Lloyd Webber, an impressario of probably 40 years duration, a multi-millionaire who did not get in that position without being an expert in what works in the theatre.

Danielle, whether you like it or not is by far the perfect person left to play Dorothy..... it screams out a mile...... the others are superb talents as well.... this isn't about knocking them at all..... they would not be there if there were not super talented... its purely THIS ROLE.... that matters....and for the role........ its Danielle all the way. I really hope the right decision is made by next week and she wins.... because she deserves to fill the roll of Dorothy.

You may not be, but my post wasn't personal - it was aimed at the Danielle fans that just cannot take the negative threads. Contribute with constructive comments, but all the whinging is unnecessary.
