Anyone going to Doctor Who Exhibition, Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne?

It starts on Saturday and I can't wait to go, I have a ticket for the first slot of the day, 10.30am and I am going with my brother. We have been massive Doctor Who fans for years (him since the 70s and me since the 80s).

Anyone else going?

If it is good, I may book tickets for near the end as well and go again.

Just got back from the exhibition, loved it. Best bit was being Exterminated by the Daleks along with a group of school children.

There was a curious piece of concept art work from series 4 showing a Dalek city on Skaro, I wonder if it was used in the design of "City of the Dalek" game.

How long is it there for? I am in Newcastle for business in a couple of weeks time, will it still be open then?

They exterminated school children !!!!
Perhaps they misunderstand the concept of Target Audience ?

I'd recommend a visit to everyone. I went to the Earl's Court one a couple of years back. Meeting the Face of Boe was a surprisingly emotional experience.

The concept art might have been for Journey's End. From reading The Writer's Tale, RTD was wanting to do a 'young Davros' sequence but had to cut it from the script due to time constraints.

I really enjoyed it, will definately be going back near the end once they have more props and outfits from the series.

Got stupidly excited to be standing next to an Ood!

Loved the Dalek 'extermination' chamber, one little boy said 'Mummy are we all going to die' bless him.

I'll have to get my backside over there. As compensation for having to miss Bad Wolf.
