It was always a cinema thing, can't remember it ever being sold in shops, Have not seen it for years, probably pushed out when popcorn became the norm.

Not obscure - but those huge cans of coke circa late 80s?
About as big as a can of beer, obviously superceded by the plastic bottle.

'Cans' of New York Seltzer, which I bought in Boots. I say 'cans' because I'm sure the 'can' was actually plastic and see through.

Panda Pops. I used to love the strawberry jelly and ice cream flavour. One of my friends and I used to buy one each before school and then mix them up to get new flavours.

I remember buying cans of milk. They must have thought just put it in cans next to the pop and the kids will drink it.

Local shops. Local as in the shop at the end of your street type of shop.

Not round here! I practically live in those little shops for all the stuff you can't find in supermarkets. I will keep looking though! Or come to wherever you live.

Edited to add: except your location is Scotland. So that maybe explains it!

Loved that stuff! You got lime and blackcurrant and I could never decide which was best.
