Will the "toothbrush moustache" ever be acceptable again?

Thank Hitler! was beginning to think we had lost it

So to bring it back on topic, do you think toothbrush moustaches are cool and hip?
No but I did once grow a redneck style handlebar moustache while in Vegas. It looked ridiculous but I pulled

Ron Mael of Sparks. He's only been wearing it for about 35 years.

AFAIK, he's not tried to force any invasions of neighbouring countries, not institute any mass executions of ethnic minorities.

He's had a few hit records though. Perhaps "This Town ain't big Enough for the Both of us", was a secret message indicating his intolerance.

More to the point, can calling a child "Adolf" ever be made accepted again? I think Adolf Eichmann spoiled it. You might be unlucky with 1 Adolf, hard to defend 2, especially when one was the head of the Gestapo.

I thought that handlebar moustache might have attracted a few muscle-bound fellas on Harley Davidsons.

I'd been travelling for weeks and not bothered shaving then when I finally did my mate said he'd buy the beer for the night if I did it so I did.

To be honest I was gobsmacked too. She was gorgeous too.

The most gorgeous ones always come along when you least expect it.

Ha, that's just what I was gonna say - let's grow toothbrush ones and get them back in fashion.

She joined me for the rest of the trip over to L.A. then up the coast to Seatle so I'm assuming I didn't do too badly

My husband went about for a whole weekend with half a moustache on one side of his face and half a beard on the other side, just to annoy me. He thought it was hilarious, I didn't.

How rude! It took a lot of TLC from me....for it to reach toothpaste status. Grow one yourself and then talk to me

Maybe that was the Sean Connery accent rather than the handle bar?

Im currently sporting a full beard. I may shave half off to annoy weeschmoo, or go for the handle bar option to pull hot biker dudes like stiffy. Decisions decisions....
