Hi, sorry if this has been covered before, all I could find were some fairly old posts.

I have a TV with two SCART sockets on. Socket 1 accepts RGB and composite, socket 2 S/VHS and composite.

I want to attach two RGB devices into the first socket (a playstation and NTL digital box) and I want them to automatically switch the TV to AV when they are turned on.
I have tried some switchers and have had problems like the AV switching not working, and if both devices are on at the same time weird things happen with the picture on the TV.

Can anyone help? I just want a basic switch that will switch all pins and not just a few which results in the problems I think.

Thanks

Does the NTL box have two Scart sockets, if so, you may be able to loop the PS Scart through the NTL box.

I have my DVD player going into the Video Scart of my Sky+, then from the Sky+ TV out scart to the 1st Scart of the TV.

Otherwise you could try http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/mod...&moduleno=9468

I don't think you can loop the PS through the cable box as the scarts on the NTL box are both outputs (1 for tv, 1 for video)

I think you should find the video scart to be bi-directional. i.e. when you watch a video, it should pass through the box.
