He seemed fairly uncomfortable to me during their G-A-Y performance..the rest of them were quite happy to play up to the crowd...

I don't think he's gay.

Barrett Foa.... and yes I get the same impression. Not sure if he is or isn't though.

Not that it has anything to do with it, but he played Rod (the closeted one) in Avenue Q on Broadway.

I agree though that a lot of men who claim to be straight acting, actually aren't.”

It suggest homophobia and insecurity, in my opinion.

Less masculine gay men are viewed differently, often negatively, in comparison with straight men. The attitude is directly related to the fact that they are seen as more 'girly' and less 'manly'. It's homophobia, with roots in misogyny but that's a whole other story.

The homophobia may be unconscious but these social attitudes don't just spring into the air fully formed.

Ugh! For goodness sake! No, it's just curiosity. The reason people don't speculate over whether someone's straight or not is because people are presumed to be heterosexual until they're corrected.

Simon Cowell does have an aura of homosexuality about him. Don't know about the other two though.

People are presumed to be heterosexual because that's the most common form of sexuality there is, and, it's the norm.

I believe zac efron is I read an article on gay celebs in the closet in heat magazine a few years ago.
It said which young teen star new to hollywood would leave trails of hearts broken if they knew he prefered men to women this was printed before robert pattison became famous which makes me think it could be zac efron.
Also was there ever a photo of him kissing vanessa?.
Defintely bearding in my opinion.

What about celebs that we might lust after but unfortunately aren't gay, but are intelligent and secure enough in themselves to be very gay-friendly? For example, we can imagine them having no qualms about keeping company with homosexuals, even to the extent that they wouldn't react in an over-the-top violent way to a gay pass being made at them, but would just bashfully brush it off/be discreetly flattered. I imagine guys like Matt Baker/loads of other hetero BBC presenters would be in that class.

I agree with this post, I have heard so many rumours about Vin Disel and Enrique Inglasias (spelling) but hes dating anna kornikova...

I would say its only homophobic if you intend to be rude or nasty to that celebrity for coming out, For example I only want to know if PJ Brennan is gay for my own interest...

Read the post I responded to. With Tom, he's just a lovely guy, I wasn't speculating about him.

I just saw an interview with PJ Brennan in a magazine it says this
Q: Doug is struggling to get to grips with his sexuality- is that a problem you have ever had?
A: Not really, because my sexuality has been concretely placed in my brain! I'm from New york so my being gay is not an issue. But there are some other parts of Dougs personality that I can relate to and sympathise with.
Make what you will of it.

PJ Brennan is what i'd call 'subtly camp'

He's not an in your face queen, but he is very feminine
