Believe me, don't believe me, your call. However it happens to be true. You'll be shocked just how many famous "straight" people appaear to have life memberships and VIP passes to some of the more famous gay nightclubs.

Naive of you to think the press would print just any old story without there being something in it for them. It's all about PR and "I'll give you access to this is you squash that" Unless they can print a picture of the "rumoured" caught inflagrante, they aren't going to run a story if there is a chance of being sued!

Here's something that I thought was odd a while ago. Remember the story that someone who was lodging in Robbie's house killed himself after Robbie had a go at him and told him to leave because he'd been spreading the truth about mutual gay friends who were hiding their sexuality? Well, who were those friends? I immediately thought, Well he was probably talking too much about Robbie himself. Perhaps they were having a fling? I dunno. Anyway, very soon after that (I think), there are stories that Robbie is now engaged.

I found it all pretty strange. If he is gay, I feel really, really sorry for him, same as I do for anyone hiding it.

Wow. That's pretty awful and more than a little odd. I feel the same as you do about it.

In a way I feel these celebs make it worse for themselves as in their minds it's probably this huge thing, whereas if they'd been open about it from the get go it wouldn't be. Also it's tempting to lump people into "straight" of "gay", when in actuality sexuality can be a lot more fluid.

They do, indeed. In Robbie's case, and I'm going on the assumption that he is gay and hiding it from the public eye, I get the feeling that he struggles to be at peace with it himself; it's not just about the public. In reality, though, how do I really know? We don't know what's going on inside his head,

Think serious, to be honest there has been forum talk of this quite a bit in the past,all the men she seems to be in a relationship with all have also a lot of rumours about their sexuality in the past it could be true they could help each other out by bearding for each other

Really? This bypassed me.

Im not sure where they started but there is a documentary Louis Theroux did where he met and hung out with Max Clifford and Cowell featured in it and practically admitted that stories about his love life were made up and planted , all the while Max is talking about gay celebrities nudge nudge wink wink. Its also interesting because Cowell seems to be at Max's beck and call with a very different persona than we usually see. Without wanting to label anyone if Id have to guess I would say he came accross as quite camp.

Very interesting documentary though it seems to have been buried a fair bit and quite hard to get a hold of.
