It's nothing more than a hunch, but I've thought since I was a teenager, performing nefarious acts over him , that Chris Jarvis off Ceebeebies bats for 'my side'. He's gorgeously sweet and never ages, to boot

If I were to pick an 'outsider' it would be Matt Baker. I see one or two of 'the signs' there, but... it probably isn't true
Chris Jarvis, I'm 99% sure he is gay.

Matt Baker I reeeally don't think he is.

Yes he definitely is, I know somebody who worked in panto with him a few years back and he was pretty open about it.

Oh he's ridiculously cute.

I also remember a blind item being posted here about a comedian who liked the fellas and it strongly hinted (at least the way I read it) towards dear Father Dougal McGuire - since the BI mentioned always making 'time for tea' which all I can think was the classic Mrs Doyle line. He is married with children though so....who knows.

For those into high fashion models, Mat Gordon

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/9968/fotog15e2b.jpg

is gay according to some internet gossips - he's the guy that does the groovy Paco Rabanne 1 Million advert. For one of the world's top male models there's no record of his dating history on the internet despite being in his late 20s. Usually the really popular male models have been linked to at least one female model or actress. He's very private so again, who knows but he destroys my gaydar, bless him. He seems so sweet. I have found one little bit of juice on him/another model though in a far flung corner of t'internets.

Really ?

I can't see that one myself. Especially because he's married with kids... And before everyone jumps on me to say that doesn't mean anything, I just don't believe there would be any need for him to cover up his "secret gay life" to such a huge extent.

He's married with children and you don't think there'd be a need for him to cover a 'secret gay life' up?????

Lol, I think you've pretty much answered that one, phoo!

Anyways, not saying that was the answer, it just struck me that the phrase about tea mirrored the classic style of Mrs Doyle. It might have been referring to something else and of course all blinds should be as subject to a critical eye and a grain of salt as the so-called 'facts' we see everyday in newspapers and mags. Everything is subject to a question mark.

I'd love to know the true percentage of actual homosexuals out of everybody mentioned in this thread so far. I bet it's laughably low. Though we'll never find out for sure!

This is why they shouldn't lie to people imo. If you take it that seriously there's $$$ to be made off people's hope that it's real.

I'm not saying the m/f pair are not real but if they are not then it's yet another sad deception.
Also I do like the pair of them separately and if it is fake i'd prefer them to be in loving relationships

It is understood to be around 10% - 20%, but why say things like that unless you have a problem with homosexuality?

If you read their post properly you would see that they weren't being offensive just stating that in this thread we have probably guessed most of them wrong!

I could have laughed at his VT for Celebrity Big Brother. He claimed that he wasn't bothered about anyone thinking that he was gay and yet what's the first thing he does when a fella jokingly asks if he's flirting with him? Andrew quickly states that he's not gay. What was that you were saying in your VT Andrew? He could have just laughed and shook his head and then said no. He wasn't exactly asked straight out if he was a homosexual.

So 'I'll bet it's laughably low' didn't seem in any way offensive to you then?

The poster was referring to gay celebrities mentioned in this thread...not in general. I think he said "laughably low" because it is amusing how many people in this thread are making so many bizarre speculations (for example "so and so is gay because he's never had a public relationship with anyone").

Wasn't/isn't there a U.S. website that outs gays in the public eye?

I can't recall what it was called...something with 4 initials iirc

Really? The figures I've seen mostly say 5% - 8%, 10% at the most.

Any figures done through survey are always going to be a bit suspect on figures. A very good portion of gay men in the country at any one time, will be in the closet. How likely are they to admit to it in a survey if they haven't accepted it themselves?
