BBC I Player - Recording to DVD
Appoligies if this question has been asked before but does anyone know if there is anyway a recording can be made from the BBC I Player? My problem is I missed the first part of "I'm in a Rock 'n' Roll Band", I can still watch it on the BBC I Player on both Virgin & my PC but I want a copy to keep in my own archives. Any suggestions?

Go to the website http://po-ru.com/projects/iplayer-downloader/ and download the ipdl iplayer downloader.
once there, download the .exe file ipdl.exe version 1.14 then enter the code that looks like this from within the url of the iplayer link b00sbj2s in fact, that code is for episode 1. its a bloody fantastic tool. Forgot to mention, the file that it downloads is a .mp4 for video, or a .mp3 for audio. How you then burn it to disk is up to you. Its great that you can add the file straight to your iphone. |

Just tested recording from Iplayer to dvdr but see it is copy protected , but with my special scart lead in line that is never a problem.
Seems odd to protect catch up tv that you could easily have recorded unprotected yesterday on your V+ ![]() Do a Google search for Sonel and you can get a lead too that will allow you to copy from Iplayer and everything else without a problem in the best quality Quite quaint really that Macrovision is still causing some people problems 24 years after it was first beaten |

18days - thanks for the heads up on that piece of software - just tried it, and it works. Can now download programmes for my Cowon D2 media player.
