If they had of just gave us part 3 we might have had a chance at one of the records for the quickest parts of a thread. We only got part 2 about 11 days ago.
EDIT: PART 2 of the Ali and brian appreciation thread has 8892 posts over 356 pages so it might be one of the longest.

i think part 2 went really quickly cos she won and there were a few interviews with her.... but yes I agree.... i am going to go DS mod hunting bring it to their attention

I agree they probably did have late night chats living in such close proximity 24/7. When I was in year 9 I went away to another country for 2 and a half months as a skl trip and we lived in flats. It's kinda hard to explain what they were like but we were all nearby each other. Anyway there were 2 rooms within each flat and we all grew really close and would stay up late at night chatting about the days events. Also last year I went touring for a month with a group and again grew really close to everyone on the trip and would often have late night chats in our rooms and whenever we found spare time. She's had a great opportunity to make some life long friends and I really think they all were happy to be with each other so good for them!

I always thought you went to part 3 automatically, how do mods even know when a thread has reached the 5000 mark

I know but do they just search through boards to see where they need to start new threads as there are lots of boards on here to go through.

I can imagin they had many late night chats at summercamp we used to be in the staff bit talking until 5 o'clock some nights and had to be up at like 7 for flag pole. But when your living a life that so dependent on who your around the others become your surrogate family, even if some were closer than others they've been through an experience and have a bong that can never be explained or fully understood by others.

Fan Forum Update
I'm pleased to announce that the Fan Forum now has 89 members and has just over 500 posts! That's in one week, so it's fun.
I have recorded Danielle's little segment from the Radio 1 Chart Show and posted the link on the "Audio" section of the forum. I'm also working on a FAQ, so if anyone has ideas for what questions to include, please PM me on the forum. I'm also going to post links to this thread and its previous incarnation on the "Links" section, so that others who don't come from DS will be able to get caught up.
Also, the fan book discussion is in full swing over there, so if you have any ideas to share for that, feel free to post in the "Fan Book" Section.
It's fun that things seem to be going so well. I'm looking forward to this coming week, when there will undoubtedly be lots more to post. Here's the link in case you don't already have it

I did, I didnt really find it scary but it freaked me out when I was younger along with Pinnochio.
I read on one sophie vid that when the camera cuts to danielle during sophie's SOTR and she realises its there her afce goes all fake

probably been pointed out before but i noticed the other day in the danielle & jessica sing off, just before they sing, jessica says "good luck babe" and danielle responds with a wink and kind of puts her thumb up, its really sweet
and in the final after they finished the opening performance lauren seemed to kind of wait for danielle, then they looked like they had a little chat.
