Hi, I am on iPhone 45 (18 month contract, since 10th October 2010).

In the last three months or so I have been using more than the allowed 500 text messages and use very little minutes (I know I should of went for a cheaper tariff but I get a friends & family discount and wanted the phone a bit cheaper).

Can I add a bolt on or something rather than paying per text message. I know I can downgrade my contract after 9 months but that won't be till July and when I do will I receive the now unlimited text message allowance?

Comments Appreciated.

Welcome form the future

O2 will probably let you move to the current iPhone 45 with unlimited text.

I would call them.
Just called them and they changed it no problem and it doesn't affect me if I wanted to downgrade after 9 months (from date of purchase).

Thanks for the advice.

Excellent. Thought they would be happy to do that for you.

Forgot to mention that picture messages are not included in your unlimited text like they were in your previous bundle (they would have used 4 text worth).

Yeah, they made me aware of that. That was good customer service they made me aware of everything regarding the change.
