DTI6300 - Hard drive/Recording problems
flashingblade
20-05-2010
Hi

Had my box for a couple of years although its only in bedroom and not had a lot of use.

I am suddenly unable to record any programmes or use the pause/rewind etc functions when watching Tv.

All the progs in the library were deleted automatically as they were "corrupt"

If i try to record anything i get the recording failed message as soon as the recording is supposed to start.

Any advice welcome.

Same thing happened to my DTI 6300. I formatted the hard drive:
Menu, Set-up (4), Help (6), hidden Advanced Info (green), Format HDD (blue).
I think you cycle the power or it resets itself and wait a long time while it formats.

I can now record etc although I haven't got the Series Link working yet.

Absolutely gutted as had a lot saved, most notably the latest series of Family Guy!
