Jesus christ, someone put that poor audience out of their misery and get Pixie off the stage.
Save that girl for the studio. ![]() Been some good stuff on today - Paolo Nutini's set was brilliant. Also enjoyed Paramore and Delphic too!

Dont people watch gigs anymore, the audience seem to be entirely holding up mobile phones.

Why the hell is Dizzee Rascal dressed as a basketball player?
Watching the coverage of MGMT on the red button. I can report that Andrew VanWyngarden has had a haircut and he looks f**king hot. Man alive, I wouldn't think twice about jumping that thing. He's absolutely adorable. ANd his eyes! Wow, his eyes.... I've always said it and I mean it: there is nothing hotter than a guy who has good hair and can play guitar. Anyway I'm getting carried away. They seem pretty good live. Which is handy because I am seeing them later this year ![]() ![]() ![]() Where are you seeing them in the Autumn? I'm going to Manchester. Can't wait. I *kind of* saw them two years ago when they supported Radiohead, but wasn't so into them then so I wandered off to the burger van during their set..kicking myself now. They have really improved live since then by the looks of it, anyway. |

Rihanna...FANTASTIC!!! i mean i knew she was a great live performer but that was just so professional and EPIC!! people can say whatever but she is one of my favourite 'contemporary' music artists from the USA. her GGGB and Rated R albums are just phenomenal, i wish i had enough to see her new tour, she just brought the songs to life with her performance, she was stunning!
Florence is beautiful as always and was absolutely fabulous with her performances that i saw on Beeb 3 love the woman even though she sounded exhausted come the end of it must have been the heat!! and Dizzee (despite not being a fan!) i really liked his performances even though he was just WOOOAH!!thought that Cheryl had a good stage presence but unfortunately after Fight For This Love she was just all over the place vocal wise but she was there and gave it her all, just not my cuppa tea is all! but Alecia...WOW!! she is a fantasti and professional artist too, i mean her stage presence was so amazing and her vocals so raw and beautiful too! just great to hear and see! ![]() gotta watch 'em all again while i can on Iplayer

I thought she was OK actually! Certainly I've heard her FAR worse than that before. She's not the greatest singer but she was certainly better than Cheryl.

Hey..Andrew is mine
![]() ![]() Where are you seeing them in the Autumn? I'm going to Manchester. Can't wait. I *kind of* saw them two years ago when they supported Radiohead, but wasn't so into them then so I wandered off to the burger van during their set..kicking myself now. They have really improved live since then by the looks of it, anyway. I'm seeing them in good old Brixton. Here's hoping I don't get stabbed, raped or murdered. But I reckon it'd be a small price to pay after being in a room with Andrew. And you opted to have a burger instead of Andrew VanWyngarden? I don't want to be rude, but, oh sod it, burgers are just as fit as Andrew VanWyngarden when they want to be ![]() Veggie burgers, that is. Sexy little devils. |

I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed Cheryl, but Marina and the Diamonds was my favourite act of the weekend, I absolutely love her.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed watching the event, I've tried to watch as many of the performances as I can and I will catch up on the rest throughout the week.
Florence was superb on Saturday, she has so much energy and never slowed down. I thought Paramore were amazing - Hayley is absolutely awesome. Marina was also great but I love everything she does anyway and Pendulum absolutely smashed it, perfect way to close the event

Marina and the Diamonds isn't a group, she's a solo act.

You Me At Six were really good too.
How do I put this without sounding shallow? Well, they are, shall we say, an extremely pretty band... |

I was there over both days, I had an amazing time. Managed to get to the barrier for Saturday, and I was a bit further back for Sunday.
Florence, Dizzee Rascal, Rihanna, Pendulum and Marina and the Diamonds were all really good. I don't even like Rihanna and Dizzee normally. JLS and Pixie Lott were rubbish. I was disappointed by Kesha as well, not that my hopes were particularly high to begin with. I was pleasantly surprised with Paolo Nutini who I thought was really good as well. My friend managed to meet Fearne Cotton and about 5 other celebrities in one day! |

Just when i thought she can't get any worse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4LEDieccvg I thought Rihanna was amazing actually, but then I am biased as I am a now a major fan after going to see her live on tour. Before, although I liked her songs, I was a bit like whatever but now I love her! So yeah, I thought she was maybe a little shaky during Russian Roulette but she was really great the rest of the time. Never realised how funny she is aswell until I listened to her interview with Radio 1 after her set! I hate to have to say this as I LOVE her recorded music and her but Cheryl Cole really just wasn't very good. I don't know whether she was nervous or what but lots of it was very out of tune! JLS were good, I do like them but I hate their new single....ew. |

Oh, well why doesn't she record under the name of Marina Diamanadis? I assumed it was a band given the name.

Just got back from yesterdays gig- loved it!
Rihanna was my favourite she's made a fan put of me from her performance. Pixie lott made me escape to the bar, unfortunately no amount of Gaymers drowned out her persistent wailing! Still like JLS and pendulum as well although Paramore again made me escape to the bar. Crystal Castles were awesome as were marina and the diamonds- all in all a great free day out! |
