I feel all this series has been drawing on many parallels of Sci-fi, fantasy and fairytale; The Matrix, Alice, Peter Pan. I'm sure there are many others.

The Matrix ripped off Doctor Who in the first place, it's a direct steal from The Deadly Assassin.

Tell that to my brother....when I was watching Deadly Assassin one day (probably a year ago now)...he happen to catch the bit where the Doctor was about tho enter the other reality...and the first thing he said was "they copied Matrix!"

But then he is always looking for an excuse to have a pop at the show in any way possible, even if it makes no sense!!!

They are Time Lords, so they could have ripped off a film that hadn't been made yet...
