For anyone else on 3 network (mobile phones), can you send text messages? Whenever I try to send a text, it just says it failed. This is happening to a few of my friends on Facebook as well, and one of them is in a different area to me.

What about you

My sister is having the same problem, however she can receive texts and make calls. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon though!

Having the same issue with mine and my parent's phones. In the West Mids.

Im the same with texts but when I try to make a call it goes to the recorded message about not having enough credit, so I assume that I would have been able to make calls if I had the credit.
I recieved a text from a non-3 friend about 7.30pm so they are coming through.

I was going to make this exact thread earlier, but got sidetracked.

Can't send any texts here (Fife), and neither can my friend near London. Has been happening to me since around 6.

Hope it's sorted soon!

Same here, haven't been able to send texts since last night - I can however receive them.

Is it just me or is their actually no 'service status' or 'network issues' page on Three's website where you can find out about such problems? If there is then its incredibly well hidden!

I hope there going to give us some kind of refund/free texts for the inconvenience

All working now, but it's quite something for the entire network to be unable to send texts for such a long period of time! I'd be very interested to know what could have caused such a thing - I've never known anything on that scale before!

Mobile networks seem crap the now for 02 was having problems other week and it tane 02 about 2 days for there service to get to near 99% working.
Even now the 02 service seems to be only working 99% fine at times but thats far better than it was the other week.

Same Here, I'm quite surprised to see none of the tec-related websites (Such as The Register) haven't had any sly digs as of yet

As I said above though I think Three should give everyone affected some free texts or internet usage as way as an apology.

I agree. Everytime I have a problem with 3 I call them up. They can see the problems. This month they credited me 1 months rental because I kept getting my calls disconnected after 2 minutes.
This network is not very good. Ive had problems ever since I signed up. I certainly wont be renewing my contract when its up. Which unfortunately is a year away,
