The last note seemed to be totally out of place

I have just listened to that last note again.
When I first heard it,it took me by surprise.
But having listened to it again,I can appreciate the technically quality she acheived.No it was'nt spot on.But it seems we are talking here of a girl who is capable of being trained in a reasonably short space of time to sing as a soprano.The ability is obviously there.
Why did she sing that note if it was'nt something that ALW had not encouraged her to do.
In my rather simple logic,is'nt it just necessary to count how many musicals require soprano's in order to work out what Lauren might be destined to appear in.
I am not exactly sure what they are,but someone must.

I think Lauren will eventually end up starring in a 'true' musical theatre role, where the lead actress has several big solo numbers rather than just the one. Out of all the Dorothys I think Lauren has the voice that people will pay £50+ for a ticket to hear.
BTW does anyone have any more information about the additional songs that will be in ALW's version of TWOO? I know there will be a opening number and a song for the witch to sing, but apparently there will be 5 or 6 new songs. Anyone?
